Or the other way around, tho I dont see it happening, but its a possibility, hence why Goku's fighting the bald dude in the OP, cause he already took care of Toppo, this bald alien dude could be stronger than Toppo for all we know, its not all the time that the leader is stronger than his members.

Going solely on the OP, Toppo doesnt play that huge of a role (he even got side lined, center was his member bald alien dude), FemBroly,Cabba,Frost and the bald alien dude will tho, magazine didnt hype Toppo up as well, just the one fighting Vegeta, fem Broly and bald alien dude. Then again they could just be hiding him in the dark.

I want Universe 11 to all be Pride Troopers and that everyone from Universe 7 to get at least 1 fight against against a Pride Trooper during the tournament.

That'd be cool, with them doing a ginyuu style pose hah. I hope the tournament is switch members after the fight, like whats happening here in the exhibition match, with anything goes.

The opening is not going to show everyone that is going to be important.

I think it will be a format where once you fight you switch out and that is why I don't think Goku will face Toppo as we know Goku is fighting the other guy. Goku can't fight all the strong guys and leave no one for the rest of team Universe 7.

Goku fighting Toppo as well wouldn't be him fighting all the strong guys though. With that said, I do believe that regardless if Goku fights Toppo within the next 2 episodes or not, I don't think he'll fight Toppo later on in the tournament.

I could see it going either way. We'll see. Either way, this outcome with Bergamo is super interesting.

Hmm. The latest spoiler have very intrigued. Goku has thrown fights in the past before, so it wouldn't be beyond him to do it again. I have to say though that this is define the tone of the whole arc and Goku's characterisation in Super. Goku's love for battle has been discssued a few times in the series but never outright questioned. They are really setting up something major and I love the fact that Toei/Toriyama are willing to take such a big gamble with the narrative in this fashion. On one end, Goku could undo the stipulation that he indirectly caused and prevent trillions upon trillions of lives being put at risk, but also undermining the whole perspective of the tournament and the Universal Survival arc in itself. But on the other, Goku could end up directly dooming several universes because he gets so into a fight and he becomes incredibly unlikable in the process. I have no idea how they're pull this off without pissing off the fanbase, but I'm insanely intrigued to find out how this pans out.

No matter what they do it would piss off the fanbase, I know I would be pissed if Goku threw the fight.

Yeah but with more of a twist, since Black was only killing mortals, not the planets/galaxies/stars or any of the sort, meanwhile in Goku's case, literally every Godamn thing goes boom (I'm kidding, Goku isnt exactly the one doing the destroying here.)

Making Goku and friends out to be the bad guys to the Pride troopers good guys would be interesting.

Hell if Goku has to make a decision to throw the match or not then, either way he goes, it's going to be really interesting to see how it plays out.

If gohan does end up losing then that's fine. I just hope he has a good showing.

Goku is going to win.

Recently a new galaxy has been discovered which might have life. To be honest, if they told me tomorrow that a God is going to destroy that galaxy for whatever reasons, I wouldn't really care as long as he doesn't destroy the Milky Way. So why would Goku, the guy who refused to destroy the androids before they even were a threat, the guy who gave Cell a motherfucking senzu bean, the guy who helped with Buu's resurrection just to enjoy a fight with his friend, give a fuck about Universe 9 getting destroyed?
Not to mention both Zenos (or Grand Priest) would surely be able to tell whether Goku is giving it or all or not, and I don't think they would be ok with Goku quitting/not giving his best. So if Bergamo isn't the better fighter, he can tell goodbye to his universe.
By the way, I'm really curious to see everyone's reaction once Zeno reveals his destruction plans. The Gods are not going to like Goku for coming up with this tournament.
Goku is the villain of this arc, I'm fucking sure of it. The good guys are the U11 ones, the righteous heroes. As for Zamasu/Black, we don't know (and probably never will) if they killed everyone from U11 or just the Kai. But, at the moment, I don't see why Zamasu wouldn't have been able to kill Toppo and the others, considering he was immortal. Future Zamasu looked a lot more experienced, and was surely more powerful, than Present Zamasu.

Yeah, the other Gods don't exactly act as if they know about the rule (Or Uuniverse 9 would be a lot more worried about losing). Maybe it's revealed during the fight with Gohan, or there's more to Bergamo then meets the eye. Maybe he's working for another and is simply here to fucks things up (Like making this deal and purposely pushing Goku to beat him).

Maybe he doesn't. It just says Omni king accepts Bergamos proposal (whatever that may be) and then announces he will lift the rule should they win.

Perhaps announcing the rule exists at all is how Universe 7 ,and of course Goku ,get outed.

Well, the preview mentions that all the other universes are turned against Goku by Bergamo's 'slick' talking, maybe he does that by revealing this little factoid.
