Going by the massive boosts displayed in the Black arc Goku had to have become 5x stronger in that arc alone.Noah wrote:So ignoring the God Base stuff how much strong do you guys have Goku and Vegeta compared to the Boo arc?TheUltimateNinja wrote:There's also the 3 year RoSAT training.Bullza wrote:Goku has to be a lot stronger than he was in the Buu saga because of his training with Whis.

Whether he's as strong in Base or not, if Frieza in his First Form is stronger than Super Saiyan Gohan and Frieza in his Final Form is 226 times more powerful than that then really Base Goku should be a good 300 times or so stronger than Super Saiyan Gohan.Noah wrote:So ignoring the God Base stuff how much strong do you guys have Goku and Vegeta compared to the Boo arc?TheUltimateNinja wrote:There's also the 3 year RoSAT training.Bullza wrote:Goku has to be a lot stronger than he was in the Buu saga because of his training with Whis.
Making that recent episode where they appear to be equal so mind boggling.

Actually, I don't mean them as equals, but close. Gotenks was still a work in progress.ssbgoku wrote:Ok, so you mean end of buu arc ss3 goku >= post rosat ss gotenks.
That's why I said Gotenks probably had the edge in power.RehBeh wrote:Gotenks is stronger than Goku. Gotenks fought evenly with Evil Boo while Goku was scared to even fight with him.
Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
Beerus only questions Goku's hair color, to which Whis says it's the result of a transformation. Right after it, Goku turns into SSJ2, and that's when Beerus' comment on Goku being able to beat Freeza comes.TheUltimateNinja wrote:It is in the manga. When Beerus says he's certain all Saiyans possess black hair, Whis explains that they have a transformation known as SSJ and Goku says that's exactly what it is. Then depending on the translation you use Beerus says he sees how Goku beat Freeza/it's no surprise that Goku beat Freeza, but that's all he can do.
Again, the manga doesn't really state base form isn't enough to beat Freeza. That's just in the anime and in the movie.

I would have rof Base goku at least fat buu level(2x ss2 goku), closing to buu arc ss3 goku. I have also gohan and gotenks getting weaker in meanwhile. Keep in mind buu arc ss3 goku <= post ss gotenksNoah wrote:So ignoring the God Base stuff how much strong do you guys have Goku and Vegeta compared to the Boo arc?TheUltimateNinja wrote:There's also the 3 year RoSAT training.Bullza wrote:Goku has to be a lot stronger than he was in the Buu saga because of his training with Whis.
rof ss gotenks ~ post rosat base gotenks
rof ss gohan ~ 10 times post rosat base gotenks
rof base goku ~ buu ac ss3 goku
u6 base goku ~ post rosat ss gotenks
FT arc base goku ~ buu arc ss3 gotenks- Ultimate Gohan
Cuurent base goku ~ Buutenks level

Just wanted to let everyone know: I found out Toyotaro is going to make an appearance, this May, at the yearly Comicon in Naples (yup, that's where I happen to live).
In short, if I happen to find him and there's a meet and greet or something, I'm most definitely gonna try and ask him about where Base and Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta currently stand in power according to him compared to their old manga selves.

I wonder how Toyo will answer this, judging by his style he probably won't just say something vague like Toriyama.ChiefWamsutta wrote:That would be awesome if you could!!! Wow!!! He almost certainly won't just give out power levels, so there's 2 options:
1) He compares them to a character from the series, like say the androids.
2) He says they've become x times stronger.

It depends, I guess. They could make autograph lines, a meet and greet, a little convention. I think that there's definitely going to be a way to physically see Toyotaro; and, if anything, it'd be quite strange if they didn't allow any verbal interaction with him.Hugo Boss wrote:That would certainly be interesting, but can you get that close to him?!LowRyder2005 wrote:Just wanted to let everyone know: I found out Toyotaro is going to make an appearance, this May, at the yearly Comicon in Naples (yup, that's where I happen to live).

Besides, I've just skimmed through the tickets page... and it's even better than I expected. I am a columnist for my University. Chances are I could even get in as press, and not as a regular fan. They do reserve access for both columnists and professional journalists connected to my field of expertise.
Admitting I could have access as "press", I may even be able to strike a proper interview on the spot (or ask the Comicon staff if there ever was the possibility to do something like that). Don't want to get your (and my) hopes up, though. Let's just leave it at "I may see Toyotaro at our Comicon", for now.

Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
Lavenda at best is Super Saiyan Gohan tier. And even that's being a bit generous as even when Gohan was blinded and couldn't sense his energy, Gohan still kicked his ass and easily overpowered him.
Spoiler:
Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
New episode....retcon is looking all but confirmed.
There's a lot of ways you can look at this episode. If we assume Lavender was roughly as strong as Basil and thats before he took the drug then Super Saiyan Gohan who was stronger but not enormously so looks to be weaker than Good Buu as he was in the Buu saga.
That would however mean that Piccolo was surely nerfed.
In the preview for the next episode Goku needs to use Super Saiyan against him and again we'd likely assume that Bergamo was roughly as strong as the other two. Otherwise it means Basil was about as strong as a Super Saiyan 2 but then both of his brothers are like a few dozen times the strength of Super Saiyan God or even just a few dozen times as strong as Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks and nobody would believe that.
So yeah I'd say there was a retcon.

I think the first priority is to ask about Base Goku/Vegeta and Super Saiyan Goku/Vegeta power levels.
The second priority could be to ask if there was a change to Goku's power from Battle of Gods.
The third priority could be to ask about SSGod and SSBlue Multipliers.

Lavenda is weaker than Gohan, he managed to keep up only thanks to his poison.

We already know the answer to the second one, if Goku was a 6 to Beerus' 10 then SSBlue Goku and Vegeta would have surpassed him by now, so that's definitely changed.ChiefWamsutta wrote:I agree with this idea.TheUltimateNinja wrote:If you do manage to get an interview, ask about the multipliers of SSGod and SSBlue as well.LowRyder2005 wrote: It depends, I guess. Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
I'd personally say base Gohan and Lavenda are about even with the edge to Gohan.
As a SS Gohan is much stronger but he played right into Lavenda's hands using it.
So despite the power difference they break even with a light edge to Gohan.
