It's there, it's just not as loud as the others. But it's still there. At least I can hear it.FortuneSSJ wrote:I was rewatching this and I realized we are still missing the sound effect at 0:11 when Goku blocks Hit's first attack.omegalucas wrote:Our own Puto has done it already with the help from OmegaRockman (who I believe is a Kansenshuu user as well):

Not complaining, but I had to say it. Still a great job!

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Alright just so the episode and I have to say I liked it very much:
- Zen-Oh wasn't done by Cristina Cavalinhos, instead he was played by Rui de Sá who actually did a good job but the voice could be a little more childlike;
- The god language wasn't there for the Dragon and for when Beerus told Whis what the wish was but it was well done and actually sounded like russian for me;
- The rest was on point and I can't wait for tomorrow to hear the translation of Taiyōken.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Anyone knows who were the voice actors in Broly Second Coming Movie?
Everyone got new voices. I guess Krillin was voiced by Loy, but the others?
Goten and Trunks kept those new voices in Bio-Broly Movie and that horrible voice actor for Goku also appeared in GT TV Special - A Hero's Legacy.
I would like to be wrong though, but they will most likely use "Mordedura do Sol" which is what they used before.

No way they will keep "Taiyoken". The chances of that happening are close to 0.Gafonso6 wrote: - The rest was on point and I can't wait for tomorrow to hear the translation of Taiyōken.

No idea who did Trunks but Goku was done buy Paulo Espírito Santo and I think Goten was also done by him.FortuneSSJ wrote:Anyone knows who were the voice actors in Broly Second Coming Movie?

Oh I know they won't ever use "Taiyoken" but I think "Mordedura do Sol" is just a bad name. I would prefer something like "Luz Solar" but who knows, they kept Zen'Oh and I'm pretty sure Krillin said just "Goku" instead of "Son Goku" on episode 40 so who knows?No way they will keep "Taiyoken". The chances of that happening are close to 0.

Vasco Machado (played Trunks on Movie 10/11) and Nuno Pardal (Goku's voice in Path to Power) were in the cast of those films, along with Espirito Santo, Cavalinhos, Loy and Semedo (the last two on 10/11 only).

It was decent. Only Cavalinhos reprised her roles though (and Espírito Santo if we count his narrator as a previous role, i. e. the GT special).

How about Videl? In Broly Second Coming Movie she didn't have the same voice than in Z, but I guess it was the same one than in GT?!
Can't remember well.

Didn't expect them to keep the language of the gods, which was a good surprise, but it's asking too much for them to be consistent, right?
Oh, NOW they decide speak politely. I guess they couldn't ignore it with "Zen Ó". They didn't compromise with his name/title
well, better this than bandwagon other dubs. Didn't like his voice but I guess it was the closest they could get to Satomi Koorogi's voice with the current cast, although Cristina Cavalinhos from the 90's could pull it off.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
I went to check the summoning scene in the Japanese version to cleanse my spirit with that beauty and I found something odd. In the Portuguese dub, there's a part where Whis summons the dragon using "our" language and I think it's after they enter its body but I didn't find that scene in the Japanese version. I might be misremembering but, after the dragon is summoned and before reciting Beers' wish, Whis only (clearly) speaks to the gang inside the cube.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Thanks guys!
I never had heard about Vasco Machado and Dora Cruz. I know who Nuno Pardal is and when DBS was announced here, he did say he did some work for Dragon Ball before and he wouldn't mind to come back, but I couldn't figure out which characters he did. But yeah that makes sense. If he voiced Kid Goku in Path to Power, he's also the one who voiced Goku Jr. in GT TV Special - A Hero's Legacy.
Overall I liked almost all the new voices, loved Dora Cruz's Videl, but I always hated Loy's Krillin and Adult Goku's new voice actor performance. Now I know who did it.
This question came up today while I was thinking about the worst performances of our dub.
I got Rui de Sá's Kaio, Loy's Krillin and Paulo's Goku. I don't put Victor Rocha's Vegeta there because even with the unfitting voice, I still enjoyed his performance.
The worst of them all is easily Rui de Sá's Kaio. I can't feel any emotion from his performance. He's just mimicking the japanese version without knowing that the japanese voice actor was sick when working in DBS. It's kinda hilarious and sad at the same time.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Episode 42 was pretty good, Vegeta sounded off at some parts not just in acting but in sound quality as well, at least to me. The rest was pretty good as always.
Oh and how could I forget this. They kept TAIYOKEN
. First it was Zen-Oh and now Taiyoken what will they keep next Daishinkan? Not in my dreams but who knows.
PS: Was Chiaotzu voice done by Cristina Cavalinhos this episode? I have a feeling he wasn't.

Guess she can't do that voice anymore, not that it matters since Chiaotzu is gone in Super basically.omegalucas wrote:Apparently it was Feist.
