Hit vs Goku Tournament Finale...Yay or Nay?

Let's just say the last fighters standing at the end of the Tournament of Power are Hit from U6 and Goku from U7. Would you be happy or disappointed to see them fight it out for what will probably be the last time? Or would you rather see someone else face Goku in the finale? From the Opening Song guy shown fighting Goku and the scene of Toppo, it seems that there could be someone else left standing to fight at the end. I'm including Goku in the finale because he's the protagonist so I'm sure he'll make it.

For me personally, I'd rather have a Hit vs Goku Semi-Final kind of thing and then Goku face someone else in the finale

I will be disappointed but It's pretty obvious that has a zero percent chance of happening, they wouldn't show us the rematch already in presumably filler if they were going to fight again..

It actually more than makes it clear hit and goku won't be having a rematch this arc at all, hit would have improved but will be taken out by an opponent mercilessly which goku will fight..

Hit will lose for sure before the finale. Either to Goku or the guy Goku has to fight in the final round.

Which is good. Because we already got a Goku vs Hit in a final round of the tournament. We don't really need it again.

I feel like Goku vs Hit will happen just not in the finals. I mean with all the potential a rematch vs u6 has. It's a real possibility.

I would be pleased since they are building a nice rivalry and it would make sense since Hitto showed that he can keep up with Goku and left Vegeta behind, however, it won't happen since universe 6 and 7 won't fight again. No one is taking out Hitto easily, he is too special to be treated like fodder and furthermore, he has a tremendous special ability very hard to beat. I loved how Hitto destroyed Vegeta, it was a total annihilation.

However, since we see Vegeta fighting the fat lady from universe 6, we can't be sure, anyway, that confrontation would happen only when 4 universes remain in the competition i believe.

I'd be annoyed if Goku and Hit fought at all. We've already seen it twice, and I'd rather see Hit get beaten by someone else as ominous foreshadowing.

I absolutely love hit. He's my second favorite character atm right behind Gohan, but I don't want him as a finale. I feel like it would be too similar to the finale of the champa arc and I'd rather see something and someone new for that. I'd like him to have a rematch with Vegeta though!

I really don't want a Goku vs. Hit finale and hope it doesn't happen. We already saw them fight twice. I honestly wouldn't mind if it's like a Goku vs. Tenshinhan (2nd Fight) where they get to have their rematch (in this case their second rematch) in the semi-finals, but I have no desire to see them in the finals.

We also don't know the format of the tournament yet. But yeah, Goku being the protagonist will probably be involved in the final fight in some way.

Hit really isn't any more special than previous characters that have been used as hype material. Not to mention this is Dragon Ball, a series that doesn't really mind making a powerful and skilled character look like garbage to the next big opponent.

Slim chances. I think the whole point of their filler rematch was to showcase Hit's abillities and how they stack up against Goku, because they're not going to meet again in the Tournament. Honestly, I'm fine with it. Let's give some other characters the focus. Let's have Frost get something to do since he has the potential to be a great character. Hit will probably get his moments against some foes, since I don't see U6 losing in the first round and he is still a top tier guy, but his dynamic with Goku has already been used up. Maybe have a rematch with Vegeta, if U6 and U7 are to meet again.

Nah i definitely think it wouldn't be the finales. If anything it will be the semi finals but universe 6 could also face universe 11 in the semi finals to hype up universe 11.
So basically either universe 6 is gonna be hype material for universe 11 or it will be a Goku vs Tien round 2 situation.

It's a boring idea.
The tournament will surely put some other obstacle to pass than their rivalry (that, frankly speaking, had lost his potential already).
Hit will lose to someone and that will give more motivation to Goku and more tension for us.

Just like I thought. Most of us want to see some new challenger. I hadn't thought about a Vegeta vs Hit rematch. I think that would be even better especially if Vegeta won, because that would be a massive step forward for his character development to take down a guy that is as hyped as Hit. I'd rather see that in one of the rounds.

And yea we don't know the format yet. I'm just speculating. I honestly wonder how their going to fit all these fights in. If each of the 12 Universes really has 10 fighters, that's a 120 fighters. Now I obviously don't expect all of them to be shown. I'm just hoping we get fights of 2 random good fighters from two Universes we know nothing about. Don't just keep it Universe 7 centric. Let me see a fight of U2's best versus U11's best, even if we know nothing about either of them.

I'd like to see Hit vs Goku in the semi-finals. I know some think Hit will lose to Toppo in order to prop him up. However I'd prefer something like Goku testing his current strength against Hit before fighting the "final boss" so to speak.

Anyway who knows exactly how this arc will play out. I would like a rematch just not in the finals.

I bet U7 vs. U11 will be the finale since the camera shots have zoom in on U11 more than the other universes. I bet U6 will probably fight U11 first and lose.

The only reason I see them fighting U6 again is to go against the female Broly (not sure if she's U6). Other than that, I don't see why we'd need to see Goku vs Hit again and expect a different outcome.

If anything they're going to use U6 to be a punching bag for U11 to show how formidable they'll be. Animes almost ALWAYS do that.

Why does everyone assume Goku will fight Toppo in the finals when they clearly show him fighting the alien?
