Goten was done by the same guy who does Aiolia/Jabu/Ailos from Saint Seiya. I don't think Goku is done by Espirito Santo but I don't know the name of his VA either.Gafonso6 wrote:No idea who did Trunks but Goku was done buy Paulo Espírito Santo and I think Goten was also done by him.FortuneSSJ wrote:Anyone knows who were the voice actors in Broly Second Coming Movie?
Everyone got new voices. I guess Krillin was voiced by Loy, but the others?
Goten and Trunks kept those new voices in Bio-Broly Movie and that horrible voice actor for Goku also appeared in GT TV Special - A Hero's Legacy.

-Episode 41-
Oh well, they screwed up the Super Shenlong part.
When they are inside of Super Shenlong and everyone is wondering what's happening, Whis says again "Aparece Dragão Sagrado e realiza o meu desejo.", when in the original version Whis just explains them what's happening.
Super Shenlong speaks in portuguese (not in God's language), Beerus asks the wish in portuguese too (which ruins the surprise) and Whis translates Beerus wish in God's language to Super Shenlong. After the wish is granted everyone wants to know what Beerus asked, which doesn't make sense anymore because Beerus spoke in portuguese...
They still kept the "depressinha" part, but all the rest was a mess.
Surprisingly they were faithful with the term "Zen-Oh". I was expecting Cristina for the role, but I guess Rui did a decent job.
- Episode 42-
Together with the driving episode in DBZ, this is my favourite filler ever. Loved it.
After "Canhão de Máxima força", "Golpe Final", and "Técnica de Kaíbe", I'm surprised they kept the term "Taiyoken".
There are some people disappointed that they didn't keep "Mordedura do Sol" well, fuck them.
I will take back what I said before. Maybe If I had been more pessimistic sooner, other original names would be kept...
Romeu's Yamcha voice changed. Don't know if he forgot his registry, or he will be busy as Zamasu in the next arc...

Yeah they screwed up that part. Whis is talking to them in that scene, not to Super Shenlong.alakazam^ wrote:I went to check the summoning scene in the Japanese version to cleanse my spirit with that beauty and I found something odd. In the Portuguese dub, there's a part where Whis summons the dragon using "our" language and I think it's after they enter its body but I didn't find that scene in the Japanese version. I might be misremembering but, after the dragon is summoned and before reciting Beers' wish, Whis only (clearly) speaks to the gang inside the cube.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

They lack two things on Audio In: QC and somebody who has actual knowledge of the series (mainly Super, but also the old ones).

And they are so mistaken. He has merit in putting together the Facebook page with the voice actors, and that's all. Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
So, Loy posted a video on Facebook today where a script could be seen. I couldn't make out the title or episode number, but it was from the Future Trunks Arc, as both Present and Future Trunks were in the male characters list. However, Black was not. Thus I can't be sure of the exact episode, but I'd bet it's either the first or second episodes of the arc.

If it's one of the first two episodes then Black is there, if he's not than that means the 3rd batch of episodes was already acquired and that thre won't be any breaks. Maybe Black was one of the characters that were ticked since if they are still using recording by the order they started recording Henrique Feist is one of the first ones that dub an episode.omegalucas wrote:So, Loy posted a video on Facebook today where a script could be seen. They were in alphabetical order. The ticked off characters seem to be Beerus, Pilaf and the Narrator (so, Spínola and Sá). As Goku and both Trunks are unticked, Feist apparently hasn't dubbed them yet. However, as he usually dubs with Spínola it may be the case of them dubbing in separate booths (as we saw in the first livestreams) and Feist's characters being ticked off in s second script in a second roomGafonso6 wrote:If it's one of the first two episodes then Black is there, if he's not than that means the 3rd batch of episodes was already acquired and that thre won't be any breaks. Count on them using Son Goku Black. It's very likely, unfortunately.
Though they'll need to introduce "Goku" to the dub when he visits Zen'Oh, unless they go with "Sr. Son Goku" or something so they can pass Son Goku as casual.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Krillin said Goku in episode 41 so they are slowly putting it in, the problem is people will complain just like they did when the second comercial aired just saying Goku and then SIC made a second version with Son Goku. I'm really hoping they slowly start just using Goku and the japanese attack names.omegalucas wrote:Count on them using Son Goku Black. It's very likely, unfortunately.

Well, they've been consistent with the names of all the new characters (Beerus aside), so there's still hope.
Though I don't think people will complain much this time, as the people who are familiar with Black are used to his Japanese name. Unlike Goku's, who had been only called by the full name up to Super's dub (well, there were a couple Goku's in GT, but my point still stands).

Dragon Ball is drawing a hundred thousand viewers to SIC.
It's pretty unreasonable of their part to actually pay for a dub even cheaper than portuguese standards rather than hiring a dub with bigger actor variety.
Honestly, I think they deserve flop and not these huge ratings. They didn't even get the opening song right.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
A flop will never happen and even if it did the series would just jump to either Sic K or Sic Radical and would be an even bigger success, but the higher ups clearly have the mindset that if it was a success with 5 actors back then it can be a success with 9 now. And the first version of the opening was clearly a warning of the horrible audio mixing about to come but we didn't see it unfortunately,kevoso96 wrote:Dragon Ball is drawing a hundred thousand viewers to SIC.

So, I watched episode 39 out of curiosity and I cringed at Feist's delivery of his dialogue. The pacing is so unnatural... Don't know if it has been that way from the beginning, but they should try to fix it.
Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Maybe it's a choice between Dragon Ball Super episodes 052, 053, & 055? A quick glance reveals Trunks & Future Trunks are present in the listed episodes while Goku Black isn't.omegalucas wrote:So, Loy posted a video on Facebook today where a script could be seen. A thought just came to my mind about the script we can see in the video. What if (and I hope I'm totally wrong) they translated Black's name. They said they wouldn't do it but what if...

Expect the worst. Goku Negrão is coming!Gafonso6 wrote:A thought just came to my mind about the script we can see in the video. What if (and I hope I'm totally wrong) they translated Black's name. They said they wouldn't do it but what if...
And I'm also curious how they will adapt the term "Zen-chan" from Goku. The suffix doesn't make sense here, so they will probably pull off something like "Zézinho" à lá tuga.

What about a Goku Negão with a brazilian accent
"Zézinho" would be ok at best but if they don't keep "Zen-chan" I think Zeninho would be the best choice. And I'm also curious how they will adapt the term "Zen-chan" from Goku. The suffix doesn't make sense here, so they will probably pull off something like "Zézinho" à lá tuga.
