Hit vs Goku Tournament Finale...Yay or Nay?

No. What I want is them to hype up the idea of Goku and Hit fighting again in the Tournament this time without holding back but that fight never happens due to Hit being unexpectedly and mercilessly stomped by another character we haven't seen yet who will be the real final opponent for Goku.

What I really want to happen is for the guy who stomps Hit to get oneshotted by an even stronger character who will be the real final opponent for Goku.

Cue the shocked expression on Goku and Vegeta's faces.

Cue the fanbase being all "Omfg this guy just beat Hit to death who is this guy and how is Goku gonna beat someone this strong when he could hardly beat him anyway!"

I really would like Piccolo to get a real fight (not like vs frost) as we didn't really see him fight at all in the Buu Arc.

Wouldn't Piccolo just get stomped? I wouldn't want Piccolo to just fight a guy that would just clobber him.

As others have said, use Hit for the Worf Effect, have a greater threat crush Hit. Three fights with Goku in such a short period of time would be too much. If not that, have Vegeta beat an improved Hit with great difficulty to show how far Vegeta has come.

As great as that would be, it would require a huge powerup for Piccolo that hasn't been hinted at since before the Universe 6/7 tournament. I fear that if they were going to make Piccolo relevant again, that it would have been hinted at several times by now and we would have seen Piccolo training hard somewhere. The fact that Piccolo turned down the chance of training with Goku/Vegeta before and showed no interest at reentering the previous tournament tells me that Piccolo is not getting another powerup. I'd go as far as to say that when Piccolo decided not to train again in the ROSAT a second time before the Cell Games, Toriyama and Toei were done with him then and everything since has just been fan service.

No one is taking out Hitto easily, he is too special to be treated like fodder and furthermore, he has a tremendous special ability very hard to beat. I loved how Hitto destroyed Vegeta, it was a total annihilation.

Hit really isn't any more special than previous characters that have been used as hype material. Not to mention this is Dragon Ball, a series that doesn't really mind making a powerful and skilled character look like garbage to the next big opponent.

I don't know what characters you are talking about. One thing is certain, in the rematch against Goku, Hitto was able to keep up with him, so how can he become garbage suddenly? Hitto was shown to be a special character, he destroyed Vegeta like a bug and forced Goku to use KK x20 and yet Goku couldn't beat him. If you make an analogy with what happened in previous tournaments it is easy to reach a conclusion, for instance Tenshinhan wasn't garbage in the 23º BT neither was Piccolo when Raditz came to the Earth, therefore, in my opinion i see no reason to think he will be defeated early and easily. Hitto is not Nam.

However, since we see Vegeta fighting the fat lady from universe 6, we can't be sure, anyway, that confrontation would happen only when 4 universes remain in the competition i believe.

This is not Bleach and Hitto is not Zaraki. It won't happen in my opinion.

Let's just say the last fighters standing at the end of the Tournament of Power are Hit from U6 and Goku from U7. Would you be happy or disappointed to see them fight it out for what will probably be the last time? Or would you rather see someone else face Goku in the finale? From the Opening Song guy shown fighting Goku and the scene of Toppo, it seems that there could be someone else left standing to fight at the end. I'm including Goku in the finale because he's the protagonist so I'm sure he'll make it.

For me personally, I'd rather have a Hit vs Goku Semi-Final kind of thing and then Goku face someone else in the finale

Ten wasn't anything special after the 23rd, neither was Piccolo when Raditz showed up and then there's Nappa, who stomped Piccolo, then there's Veggie who got put in his place from Zarbon and the Ginyu Force. Frieza then gets humiliated by Trunks post-Namek. It's happened before. Hit really isn't any more special than other big shot characters that looked threatening and then got stomped/trolled/or owned later on. Ten was garbage to Goku by the 23rd tournament. Goku trolled the hell out of Tenshinhan. Piccolo became Goku's newest rival during the 23rd.

I'm not even saying Hit will get stomped out, but he really isn't all that special at all. It wouldn't be surprising in the slightest if he got stomped out.

Bergamo sucks, if there's a rematch it'll probably happen in the quarter finals at the latest, I really doubt we'll be seeing him in the finals or even the semi finals.

We really don't know Bergamo capabilities or his personality,is too early to judge,a rematch between him and Goku will have more impact than Goku vs hit,by looking the episode 81 summary by herms

I agree that I'd rather see someone else standing at the end. But I do want to point out that in the two fights of Hit vs Goku, there has been no clear outcome. There hasn't been a winner and a loser. Both times it's been left at a stalemate. So I see the potential for them to declare a winner of those two in the future. But hopefully not in a finale sort of way.

And for those talking about the Alien Pride Trooper, the intro song does seem to suggest that he's going to be an important character. But at this point it's pure speculation to say he's going to be the last one standing to face Goku

Now this I agree with. There's nothing indicating Alien guy is going to be Goku's final opponent, but his prominence in the intro, and the V-Jump scan (when it could have shown any of his other teammates) seems to imply he'll be fairly important.
