A plothole about Dragon Ball's Earth

Post by floofychan333 » Thu Mar 02, 2017 2:54 pm

I was watching Episode 6 or 7 or Dragon Ball Super the other day and there's a scene where the camera zooms in on the Earth but it looks exactly like our world, with North and South America. Does this mean that they've changed what Dragon World looks like?

"My opinion of Norihito's Sumitomo's new score is... well, very mixed. The stuff that's good is pretty darn good, but the stuff that's bad makes elevator music sound like Jerry freaking Goldsmith." -Kenisu

I always took that as Toei being lazy because it looks almost exactly like the famous Blue Marble stock photo. They even used it for generic planets other than Earth with slight color swaps.

The Dragon Ball earth is supposed to be a single continent similar to Pangea, all ruled by King Furry.

It's not a plot hole its just Toei being lazy and using vector art of earth every time instead of drawing it.

Zeno destroyed "earth" (twice in fact) at the start of episode 77.

Proof that its just them being lazy about drawing it in DBS, and not that they forgot how DB earth looks, is that in ROF they drew it in correctly.
