Hell bloody fucking yes, it's a parent duty to teach their kids how to live. I don't give a flying fucking shit if it's 21st or the 31st century. The major role of a parent is to directly instruct their child/children on how to behave and act properly when they are growing up. Do not ever leave "entertainment" to be the permanent substitute for properly raising a child, in any moral or mental, and say that they should held accountable for any unconventional situations that they get themselves into that relate to an "entertainment" or other forms of media they saw. Dragon Ball is not meant teach kids jack fucking shit. That's something a responsible adult is meant to do. The responsible adult being a parent. If you think that "entertainment" should be solely responsible to teaching kids how to live their lives, then quite frankly, you should strongly consider not having children. I'm sorry I came off as strong, but I find this kind of mentality as very dangerous.

He was being sarcastic. That was clear as day.

Even on the internet, sarcasm can be detected if you read it properly.

Why the hell not ? BB guns are a popular kids toy.
Well, here in the UK, the minimum age to buy or sell a BB gun of any sort is 18. That legal restriction is put there for a purpose. Yes, people under the age of 18 can legally use a BB gun, but I'm personally against it because kids are way more irresponsible.
That's your opinion, which I can respect and understand but I don't think it makes the kid stupid or the parents bad. It's a socially accepted thing, at least in America.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Teens, young adults, adults, and seniors wouldn't try to power their ki up when attacked by a swarm of bees. I wasn't even actively angry, more like facepalming.

Yeah, as has been said, here in America, at least when I was growing up, it's pretty common for kids to have BB guns. In fact, non-adults are the only demographic you'd expect to own a BB gun at all as they pretty much exist to serve as a less-powerful alternative to real firearms.

Then again, I know jack and shit about firearms and have never fired anything but laser tag guns and airsoft rifles. But in popular culture and classic Americana, they're traditionally considered accoutrements for pre-teen boys. Perhaps most famously, there's the movie A Christmas Story, which revolves around the main character, Ralphie, attempting to convince his parents to get him a "Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot Range Model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time" for Christmas.

This was clearly sarcasm  the "we're in the 21st century so get with the times" already gave it away, but the biggest part was "If a kid didn't know to avoid that situation it's because DB didn't teach him how and Toriyama shold be held accountable for that"
The kid was shouting Vegetto, Vegetto knows how to use IT, its AT's fault for not giving us instructions on how to master IT let alone control our "ki" if Videl could do it, why cant we.

You have to be 17 to buy it, but anyone can play it. Most people playing it are under 18.

Now that is just irresponsible, you dont let kids play that kind of game till they're 18+, kids get easily influenced by what they see on TV and the games they play.

I... admit I find this sentiment troubling on a Dragon Ball forum considering the kind of flack it's gotten for its violence and content. You could just as easily say, "You don't let kids see the fight against Freeza. They're easily influenced by what they see on TV and the games they play, so if they see Kuririn get impaled, they'll think it's okay to impale their friends." To clarify, I'm not saying AT ALL that anything is good for kids, or that parents shouldn't make decisions about what their kids intake. But I do rather chaff at the broad-spectrum idea of, "This rating is sacrosanct and must be obeyed, for all children develop at the same rate."

Krillin getting impaled doesnt come close to what CoD can make you do and its story line. Not really DB related but when I was a kid a friend of mine slammed a basketball on someones head because he wanted to be like Sakuragi from slam dunk, we we're all playin we can do kamehame ha and punch each other in the face for giggles of acting like Goku,Vegeta,Freeza etc. if say CoD.... a kid grabs a gun and shoots at someone? that is crazier, because that is what CoD stands for, pure violence, DB has its time to time fun times.

Sorry, but I completely disagree. I've been raised with the most violent of games and I turned out fine. Kids can seperate reality from fiction. Did Dragonball ever make you want to go out and beat people up ?
