Thats not the point, my point is Gohan blitzing the weaker ones and having Vegeta blitz the ones that are stronger than Gohan, Hit is SSJB level.

Blitzing works if youre in a league of your own compared to the others, dont tell me you're gonna buy that all 70 of those guys rivals SSJB? surely you jest.

I wasnt convincing you of the blitz thing in the 1st place, I was asking a question. Your answer didnt give me the answer I wanted tho.

If Gohan blitzs the weaker ones, who's to protect our weak ones from getting blitzed? If people see our strongest fighters are preoccupied with strong fighters, all it would take is someone on vegetas level slipping away while Vegetas distracted with other people in his class to take out Piccolo and the lot.

Well ofc there will be loses on their side as well, you want all U7's 10 fighters standing tall for 48mints? not gonna happen, at best Goku and Vegeta are the only ones that'll last that long, hell they may even lose this and somethng happens down the road.
Thats why they're in a very dire situation, all 70 participants are most likely gonna go at them first because they started this mess (rather Goku started this mess) strategizing comes before getting in the ring, if blitzing doesnt work then go for another plan, but fighting off 10v70? yeaaaa, someones gonna fall.

Never said they were going to have all of their people survive. Just don't think that blitzing everyone is a smart idea.

There's also the possibility that Cabba might have their back in some way shape or form. While yes they're all in competition with each other, doesn't mean you can't bail out your friends. It might not be logical, but toriyama always throws a curve ball. I guess you and I can discuss it once the time actually comes

Seriously this battle royale thing is the best I could have hoped for. It's unique and new to DB. Goku's (and Vegeta) never worked with more then a couple people so the fact that they have to work with 9 others should be pretty interesting, no doubt now we'll probably have quite a few episodes before the Tournament proper either way can't wait. This is gonna be so damn epic
Also I am glad the previews etc didn't spoil this.

With the recent announcement of 80 fighters fighting at once a thought occurred to me...

Wait... As this actually confirmed in the last episode? Just one big match in this tournament with 80 fighters in one big ring trying to knock out each other? I don't know how that could be good lol

The battle ring is unappealing for me, I expected planetary scenarios and formats like quarter-finals, semi-finals, etc.

Hmm...I get the feeling that Gokuu and Vegeta will be the last two standing in the ring and decide to fight, even after they've won. That would be a cool twist.

While that's a good idea, the problem is that I feel they already milked the rivalry of these two with they training with each other and Goku vs Copy Vegeta in the fillers.
Unless they go the DBO route and both have a suicide brawl for the series finale, it's hard for me to get excited about another Goku vs Vegeta.

Its more of a way to get rid of scrubs fighting and build the tournament for only the strongest fighting each other..
Also it gives roshi an edge, no one else can fly

I think we will, everyone will be gunning for U7, wont be surprised if all of em has to fight against opponents ganging up on them. Imagine a 1v7 scenario for each one.... well Roshi's the one who's fcked if that happens tho

Thats what I'm sayng, but they say Herms translated that part and said they cant fly in the null void as a whole, not just outside of the ring, I tend to go with the visuals, they had chibi Goku flying on the ring and falling the instant he's out for a reason.
