Definitely the actual, the fan made are flashy and all but that's about it, the actual ones are much more versatile and provide the different universe vibe better to me overall

Funny enough, according to Toriyama, Androids like 17 and 18 can indeed train and grow stronger from it.

I think Beerus, Fox-guy and the Merman are the best from the actual designs, but overall I think the Fan Made are better ignoring the Snake Lady, Piccolo rip off one, Bunny girl and the "Captain Chicken" of course.

PREDICTION:

I think the Clown God gets killed, somehow. Maybe he interfers with the fight between Goku and Toppo and Zeno is like "Hell Nah,not in my house," and kills Clown God. Then, Toppo can't fight in the Tournament because he ascends to the position of God of Destruction. So, bald Alien of Pride Warriors, is super pissed, and thats why we see Goku fighting him, and NOT Toppo.

Obviously some details aren't there, but it could work. Just a thought.

I think just about anybody is clear on that.
Goku having those villanious vibes, main rivals are the justice league, yeap, our protagonist is the antagonist, and I love it!

Easy... 17 and 18 were just normal humans modified being Cyborgs with actual no clue behind actual martial artist or ki control...

That's why Toriyama himself said because the are HUMAN based they can become stronger... meaning train the other side and do not just rely on your cyborg powers.

And seeing the opening and 17 with aura may be a clue

Right, these episodes are just as important as the main tournament I'd expect more of these before the actual tournament hence why the exhibition matches were a thing probably to tide us over. Plus this gives the animation staff a lot of time cuz they're gonna need all the time they can get to pull this off.
