More Supervisors working individually, I hope it's a good thing.

Just wishing that schedule attract others just like the first episodes of Dragon Ball Super.
I'm bad at English and still learning. If there's anything wrong, please correct me. :D

There aren't any supervisors working individually in Super, only Yashima. Most likely they missed some supervisors like how they do all the time.

Because Ajay is a strong, independent guy who don't need no schedule
maybe some of you will get this

But yeah, it will be updated soon hopefully

I like how they are using staff. Hopefully no main staff(other than Kitano) before the actual tournament.

I'm really hoping that they are saving Karasawa, Shida and Otsuka for the main tournament, and also Ryota Nakamura and Tatsuya Nagamine.

I really want Shida's cut to flow between different fights that would look so awesome.

Damn. Damn. Damn. We lost Karasawa. Just what a lot of people had feared. Oh well. :(

But having King Ryu back softens the blow somewhat.

EDIT: Yashima is a fucking workhorse.

- New staff list-

Oh shit, where did the future character designer of this franchise go?! :(
RIP Yuichi Karasawa. You were my favourite supervisor.
We need a miracle at this point.

Only excited about episode 82 but it's cool to know that the next 3 episodes will be solo supervised, if the staff list is right which I doubt...

Always ready for more King Ryu, but as long as I have Toshio I will always be alright.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

Image for #82 is out. I don't think this shot was in the NEP.

Since there won't be an episode this week, I think Ajay will use this opportunity to update the catalogue, unless of course he has something on. In that case, nothing happens. :|

Really hope Karasawa's leave is only a temporary one, though being a pessimist, I'll go forward thinking that he will most likely never draw anything dragonball ever again.

This doesn't change anything regarding him that where we were before as these episodes are downtime recruiting the team, I'd be 100% more livid if Karasawa was one of these. Until the staff list for the episodes where the actual tournament I wouldn't worry just yet.

Really hoping that

1, Karasawa just wasn't listed with the other supervisors on the list.

2, he stepped down and is gonna work as a key animator.

3, he's given a LOT of time for a future episode(s). Like, A LOT.

Just hope he doesn't leave, I really want to see what he would do with this arc

Or probably he's just taking a break, à la Manabe after the Freeza arc. He left with 27, and then he re-appeared with 39, and then re-left to came back with 56.

That looks pretty good, as did the preview in general. I'm looking forward to some Itai artwork because it's usually quite unique and expressive. The cut at the beginning and his corrections were the only good parts of 64.

On a completely unrelated note, the shading on his moustache makes it look like he's had a nose bleed that stained his facial hair.

Episode 80 and 81:

Sorry I'm late.

I've begun my planned updates to the guide. I totally overhauled Kitano's section since, frankly, most of it was very wrong and included far too many Ide corrections. I removed some incorrect presumptions and credits from certain supervisors' pages, too.

Next stage is to create sections for Koji Nashizawa, Yui Kinoshita, and Tsutomo Ono. I should be able add Nashizawa and Kinoshita very soon since I know their work well now, but I'd like to wait ever so slightly longer before committing to Ono.

For anyone interested in the YouTube side of things, I caught up and covered the last three episodes here.

I'm falling behind on a lot of Dragon Ball things. Kinda burnt out on the series at the moment. While I'm enjoying this arc so far, it hasn't quite ignited the same passion in me that the Future Trunks arc did. One Piece is real good right now, though! Gastino for Straw Hat!

Kitano just sucks. I don't think it's a time thing anymore. He needs corrections rather than doing corrections, seriously.

Really? I've seen good cuts from him before this series, it's not like he's talentless. Maybe something about Super's art style is difficult for him. Either way, I do think that we've probably been too generous in giving him an excuse. Other lesser animators have been able to muster decent levels of quality, so unless he's the type that cracks under even minor pressure, he should be able to pull off something decent.

I don't know, I honestly don't have any decent rationalization, so I guess you could be right.

Yeah, pretty much.

He certainly does get thrown under the bus a little, but even so, his output isn't very good.

Looking at some of his work on Disk Wars, you can still see the square heads and bottom-heavy proportions that plague his work on Super. He doesn't seem to have the animation skills to back it up, either.
