It will go like this Gohan recruits Piccolo,Tien and Roshi and it will probably be off screen,Goku recruits Vegeta on episode 83,Krillin and 18 on episode 84 where obviously one is going to mention 17 or maybe Goku will see a picture of him,and episode 85 and so on is going to be Goku and 17 bonding.

Yea i agree,that scenario won't happen,I'm hoping goku has a legit reason on why he didn't bring Goten because I could totally see the reason why trunks did not participate because Vegeta want him to protect Bulma and his newborn sister

Based on episode 77 and even before when he tried to visit Future Trunks I'm gonna guess the situation will be the same. It's a cheap but easy way to write him out of the story.

Not really new info, just a little tidbit about what we can expect from Toppo. The "submission moves" seems like wrestling type stuff (speaking from a place of complete ignorance here )

Chi Chi will probably be the reason Goten doesn't go. It won't make her character any different tbh. Chi Chi's always been dumb as bricks and unable to see the big picture. She makes super Goku look average. Let's be honest, Goten and Trunks aren't being utilized because Toriyama doesn't want to for some reason. Chi Chi doesn't have the ability to stop anyone who is determined enough from doing anything. She's just a hate sink because having someone to hate makes it easier.

I'm disappointed they went backwards with Chi-Chi. She was getting better in the Buu arc.

Unless they hide the truth from Chi-Chi, the most likely reason for the kids absence is a no children rule. Like they did with the monster rule for the U6 vs U7 tournament, an excuse to remove Boo.

Chi-Chi has already show that she's not that strict. She let Gohan train with Goku and Piccolo while waiting for the Androids and even let Gohan go to Namek.

The only thing we can do is wait one or two episodes to find out. Then we can be outraged or accept the reasonable explanation. This topic has been over-discussed by now.
