The end of the Gokû Black arc was such a mess with too many endings for me that I'm genuinely excited to see what will and won't be kept in the manga.

As Precure as it would've been, I wanted that Future Trunks gets the win with his genki dama sword to be the actual ending.

I'd be completely shocked and annoyed at Toei making a massive change to lore like that. Won't find out for another month though

I wouldn't put it past them to have made up and added stuff to that ending. I still think there's too many endings in the Zamasu arc and Toei itself could be an explanation.

Me too, he actually being the one responsible to bring peace to his world again rather than having Zamasu/Zeno destroying it and in the end making Future Trunks's life a complete mess. Man how I hated this ending...

Me too,as stupid as the genkidama is,it serve as character development to trunks for protecting mankind,I would have prefer this silly ending, sadly the gods save the day again, and we got the most stupidest and contrived ending in DB history, and it basically destroyed trunks as a character and making this arc completely pointless

and I'm expecting the same stupid ending for the manga

I totally want to see a tag team match In the manga like Vegeta fighting against black then switching to zamas mean while goku is figthing Black, and trunk is learning the mafuba and maybe providing support on his team along with kibito,mai, gowasu and supreme Kai

I still want Trunks to sacrifice himself, maybe instead of the Genki Sword we get some sort of suicide attack. It's devastating but I feel it's the best ending for the character.
Of all the things the anime did, the one I don't want to happen here the most is Trunks and Mai going to another timeline to live happily ever after...

Goku nor Vegeta look like they've received any damage, which probably suggests that it wasn't much of a scuffle. If Goku never fought Black, I'll be highly disappointed.
