It was already bullshit that Goku could use SSG again, since the effect wore off and he absorbed that power in BOG. His base power increased thanks to that, but he lost the form.
And now Vegeta uses it too...which makes me think Vegeta did the ritual off-screen in the manga, unless he unlocked something that was supposedly only be attainable with the ritual through hard work...

Still my problem with they treating that form as just any other stands. And what's even the point to use a form weaker than SSB?!
I really need to read that chapter.

BOG and ROF Movies were written by Akira Toriyama. That's the problem here.

Goku absorbed SSG in BOG Movie and that's why his power didn't decrease exponentially when the effect wore off.
In ROF Movie, Goku base form can keep up with Freeza stronger final form because of that.

The form was always treated as something that they can only use through the ritual.

Super took the plot points written by Toriyama and expanded them.
Toyotaro is ignoring something that happened in the Movies and he's using the form in a wrong away.

Unless Toriyama allowed him, disrespect is a more appropriate word.
