Hello
So, I'm meeting Toyotaro later this year and I've been purchasing some books to make him sign. And I'd love to make him sign Dragon Ball AF, one of my favorite works of his.
But the problem is, I can't find Toyble's Dragon Ball AF Doujinshi volumes on eBay, and I'm not even sure they were ever officially printed.
I do know some volumes were sold online, but I don't know if they were fakes. I do remember that a few years ago I read a piece of news talking about Dragon Ball AF, and showing a pic of a printed first volume when at some kind of "japanese comicon" ( I don't know a better term, but that gives the idea) in Japan, so I am not sure that all the volumes that were sold online were fake.
So, has Toyble's DB AF ever been printed? Is there anywhere where I can buy the volumes, besides eBay?
Thanks a lot in advance
Was Toyble's Dragon Ball AF Doujinshi ever printed, and if so, where to buy the volumes?

Dragon Ball AF isn't an official manga so naturally, no official printing of it would exist.

According to doujinshi.org, printed copies were first released in 2008 at Comic Market/Comiket 75: https://www.doujinshi.org/browse/author/36350/toyble/

This is unrelated, but it's a question for you: Where are you meeting Toyotaro? Is he appearing at a comic expo, or have you been able to arrange a private meeting?

He means copies printed by Toyotaro himself, rather than compilations put together by others using the online scans, which would be incredibly rude to show up with.SqueakyBoots wrote:Dragon Ball AF isn't an official manga so naturally, no official printing of it would exist.

He'll be at Napoli Comicon (Italy) in a little more than a month from now. Hopefully I'll be able to get Japanese Super Volumes 1-2, Italian Super Volume 1 and any DBAF Doujinshi signed! And maybe ask him some questions too!floofychan333 wrote:This is unrelated, but it's a question for you: Where are you meeting Toyotaro? Do you know if the volumes for sale from the links Son_Gohan provided were printed by Toyotaro himself or are fakes?Cipher wrote:He means copies printed by Toyotaro himself, rather than compilations put together by others using the online scans, which would be incredibly rude to show up with.SqueakyBoots wrote:Dragon Ball AF isn't an official manga so naturally, no official printing of it would exist.
