This upcoming arc could be Vegetas big chance in finally defeating the main antagonist, he could end up as the lone survivor for U7 after eliminating Jiren, though It could be good if its due to teamwork that puts Jiren down(Hit and Goku weaken him so Vegeta gets a chance in defeating him).

Imagine dedicating his big win to Bra, and Beerus regretting not put any faith in him, the build up is there, its up to Toei and Tori if they let Vegeta win the tournament.

Gohan fans should be happy Gohan is going to face a high caliber opponent(Either Fem Broly or Toppo)

He just got the main villain of the Black arc all to himself in the manga, Goku and Trunks didn't even fight him like the anime so the chances of Toriyama doing that again right after are slim to none.

Toei on the other hand won't do it at all, regardless of what Toriyama does which was proven by the Black arc. in the Manga Vegeta was the main character and he was the only one to fight AND defeat Black but in the anime he was sidelined while Goku and Trunks did most of the work.

That's still valid. Vegeta fans have gotten that. They got Vegeta clowning Black twice in the manga. Now of course in the anime, it's a different story.

Well of course that's likely. That's been his role since Namek. I'd be surprised if he wasn't used as a hype tool. With that said, Hit is probably getting used as a hype tool as well.
