Not too silly, those are the eps you first got into IIRC. For what it's worth, I'm really liking it also. :pChuquita wrote:I know its silly, but I'm really liking Freeza eps Goku's character design.
Artwork for the NA cover, you won't hear any complaining from me, guys. Except for the one small tangent that we keep getting Goku on every single cover.

Does everything have to turn into stupid bickering? Why can't everyone just come into the thread and post what they want to about the game whether it be positive thoughts or negative? We all have our own opinion on what we like and what we don't. Let's stop complaining about complaining and stay on the subject.
With that being said, I don't really think there is anything wrong with the artwork (from what I have seen so far) but I guess I can understand why some people would be disappointed. I know the links have been posted before but could someone point me to the official sites where you're looking at the character artwork please?

I never did like artwork for Sparking! games. Like I've said before, it looks like a pseudo-Toriyama style (though some of the recent designs have been marginally impressive, being some of the Goku designs). Just get the triangle guy from the DBZ episodes, refine his style, & then you have Sparking. The Budokai games had it right, it looked near exactly like the anime. Sparking is like a fan art mess. Of this is my opinion, so make of it what you will. One thing I do like about this new game....Hironobu Kageyama.

The website just got updated in the feature section: http://dbzs.jp/meteor/p_features/02.html
Can anyone who is Japanese savvy give a brief synopsis how the new system works? Being able to pronounce all kanas and recognize all kanjis does not help by a whole lot. I think "Z Burst Dash", "Blast Combo System", and "Sonic Sway" were mentioned several times in this thread, but was it ever explained as detailed as the site? I hope all this excitement wouldn't go to waste for me like Sparking! NEO did.
Edit: One more thing (My guess anyway): it seems like that assigning "Shunkan Ido Kamehameha" to one of the blast moves is no longer necessary, thanks to the Blast Combo System.

Anyways the "Shunkan Ido Kamehameha" will be a blast move. Cause older Son Goku is gonna need an appropriate ultimate especially when it's time to fight Cell
I don't think that teleport chain with a blast move only applies to Goku. It's probably just the Zanzoken (after image) which nearly everyone in DB's world can do.
Which probably means that now you can do a blast move after a teleport instead of a hard hit with characters now. Pretty cool.
Goku and Mid Goku? So is the earlier Goku, 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai or the entire Dragon Ball Z version?

Everyone's like, "What?! What are you doing with two arms?! You tear that off right now, mister!"

Lol'ed.

Am I missing something, or couldn't you do a super attack after teleporting in the first Sparking?
Granted, I still have no idea how one teleports outside of combos and people with Shunkaniido as a technique other than it involves a lot of circle and l2... *suddenly remembers there's a help thread*
Hmm, does it look like the new gameplay features will lengthen or shorten fights, if either?

New scan.
What can we tell from this?
Well, Nova Shenron and GT Goku confirmed but the place I got it from said this confirmed Future Gohan as well, although I don't see him.

*Edit* Oh wait is that him on the right? I thought that was SSJ Goku at first.
This peeves me off. Why would you waste another slot on Gohan? So what if he's from an alternate future, he's the same as the normal Gohan except with Goku's clothes...

Yes! Suu Xing Long/Nova and GT Chibi Goku are confirmed, I know this makes me very happy. And Mirai Gohan, hip-hip...Humpski wrote:New scan.

Well, if you look carefully at his fights in the TV Special, you can see his fighting style is different from his father's.This peeves me off. Why would you waste another slot on Gohan? So what if he's from an alternate future, he's the same as the normal Gohan except with Goku's clothes...
And if we have the "one arm" Gohan, then it's a complete new style.
Champagne !!!
He's got two arms. You can see as he's doing the Makankosappo in the second pic I posted. Even if his fighting style is a bit different he's STILL Gohan and we've got enough of him.Shenron wrote:Well, if you look carefully at his fights in the TV Special, you can see his fighting style is different from his father's.This peeves me off.
