Tenshinhans third eye could turn into a plot device and reach Godtier level, spamming Kikoho like crazy, destroying the ring and sending the enemy fighters to the void.

I wonder how Vegeta will at least match up KKX2 Goku, he only surpassed U6 KKX10 Goku when he destroyed the ROSAT.

Piccolo could just become strong if he trains with Gohan again, once Gohan reaches SSJB level, remember that Piccolo reached SSJ level in the Android Saga due to training with SSJ Goku.

Cant imagine the reaction if Krillin learned Kaioken.

If yes I find it even more shit that no one else knows. I think they would train 10x more with knowing it
Unfortunately people thinks its more cool not to tell them to not cause panic when the opposite can also happen and have them train like their lives literally depend on it. They should know before the tournament starts, this'll backfire on them and have them blame Goku more because of not telling them, more so if it gets announced soon as the fight begins or other characters like Bergamo spills the beans and tells his team that "hey, you know who started all this? your dumbass teammate Goku" then have everyone confused and morally conflicted or something.

I don't see how can 17 accept if Goku doesn't tell him the truth about the tournament.

What makes you say that? We haven't seen him since the Cell arc (apart from a small cameo in the Buu arc) his entire character could have changed in that time.

It would be fun if he went to train by his own because he has been trashed by berrus once and this time he found an opponent who straight had to take a full power Kamehameha and still was trying to come towards him..
Buu probably felt he isn't strong enough anymore..
Super buu had this "no one stronger than me should exist! I should the strongest" thing

I could see it happening, because U9 might still be relevant and as for now they seem to be the bad guys in this Arc(I see U11 as neutral so far). Episode 85, during that Kaioshins meeting I could see Rou threating Shin that U9 will ally with the other Universes to take down U7. U6 and U10 will back up U7

Whats 17's personality again? forgot, but couldnt Goku just say 18 is also participating and that can be enough of a reason to get him on board?

Do you see any other reason for him to consider joining ? with 18 it was so damn easy she's kinda obsessed with money we know that for a while now.

I hope everyone gets a new technique in DB super. It's always exciting when that happens.
Piccolo, Vegeta, Tien and Krillin will be the most likely for new techniques.
When's the last time Tien had a new technique ? Can't argue with the rest though.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

17 is cocky, stubborn, independant, likes having fun, doesn't give up easily and hates losing,i expect him to be a bit more mature now just like 18 but he'll still have his cockiness and all that.

Countless reasons they could have 17 join. Examples being, Goku could be like hey we have a multiversal tournament and I want you to be apart of it and 17 could agree to join just like that. Or refuses and Goku brings 18 in to help convince him. Or Goku beats him within one inch of his life and forces him to join.

I think you could find a way to use most of his character traits to convince him to join. Cocky? An (almost) all-universe tournament is an excellent way for him to prove himself. Likes having fun? A tournament could easily be great fun. Independent? Tell him the truth and that he'll be unable to be free without a universe to live in. You know, things like that.

SO Majin Buu slimmed down? He looked fat still in the OP? I'm confused. I thought he was permanently fat, wonder if he could ever look like Super Buu?

As expected of a 17 fan, you know your stuff, I wonder how Goku plans on persuading the guy, or maybe 17 doesnt buy to any of Goku's BS and with no other choice left, Goku tells 17 the stakes and thats what gets him to join.

This is the most unlikely thing that can happen  I'm betting with 17 simply hearing 18 joining gets him on board, or that he's cool with joining since its been a long time since he's been fighting.

I have a feeling Goku and 17 might spar and Goku might wreck him and that'll convince him to enter and get stronger.

It'll probably be the point of some gag, if I had to guess.

Gohan and Krillin have gotten the most amount of screen time among the side characters and 17 is being heavily promoted in DBH/Dokkan.
You're kidding? That would be a terrible Main 5 IMO, it's too soon to judge just because of their screen time or promotion. I can expect to be like this:

Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo and 17.
Ki Breaker wrote:Buu trained non stop, that might raise him to real extreme levels given his nature... Krillin got a new technique, Gohan is getting his Ultimate back...
I wonder if we get one episode per person (or two) showing their growth and power ups, everyone gets a power up!
I don't know it doesn't seem much part of character having Mr. Boo to train a lot, but Mr. Satan knowing the whole situation could have convinced him, don't have a problem with that as I don't have with characters developing new techniques, but I will find bullsh** things like Krillin or Roshi in SSJ level after such short time in the tournament.
Chuquita wrote:I really think if Vegeta doesn't come back this arc that he's done. And that just leaves me saddened. At least I've still got TFS!Vegeta.
Aren't you overreacting a little bit? Vegeta will always be 2nd lead in this series, if he does not get much screentime in this arc, I'm pretty sure they will compensate in the next one.

It's not so much overreacting as it is being pessimistic.

I'm feeling very pessimistic about it right now. I could be proven wrong by the end of the arc, but that'll be a while from now.

I bet Piccolo will do more with the clones thing he did during his fight with Frost.
Watch it be a 2 handed Special Beam Cannon.

Exactly as this Buu thing has come out of nowhere. We have to wait until all have been recruited.

He had many moves before Toriyama stopped using him.

Tien's eye should definitely be used and him destroying the arena makes a lot of sense. We all know he will use the Tri-Beam.

Vegeta probably won't get stronger unless it is a rage boost like before.

Piccolo increasing like before would be good as Piccolo would be expecting to participate in this tournament as he was in the last one so would have been doing intense training to get much stronger.

If everyone learned Kaioken then everyone would be happy as it is way overdue.

Eh, it's good Super is letting other characters get some attention after so long. I wouldn't jump to say "oh this character is getting retired now" or anything like that though. People made that mistake before and look where we are now.
