The 11:30 showing and Kai better be unaffected or heads will roll.

Hence why it's good there's 2 showings. They can easily preempt one because there's the other. Doesn't the later showing get more viewers anyways?
Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

Apparently they're doing this garbage through Midnight, so looks like we're only getting Kai tonight.

From what I can see, it's the regular schedule.

If Super #13 does not air tonight then they need to show both 13 & 14 next week.

Maybe they'll let Toonami shift over a half hour so they can air Super too.

On one hand I could see them actually doing this.

On the other hand, it's still April 1st for at least a couple more hours (depending on timezone), so it could easily just be a dumb "ha ha gotcha!" thing (though DeMarco doesn't really strike me as the type to do that).

Considering April Fools was what brought Toonami back. They can do whatever the hell they want in my opinion. What's one week off, Toonami isn't exactly consistent in it's scheduling. They constantly take weeks off to do marathons.

Wait AOT S2 got it's dub confirmed? Is there a press release about this? I'm one of the minority that prefers the dub for AOT so I hope it does get a Broadcast dub.

Yeah, besides, it's not like it's any different from the month's worth of breaks the series has had in Japan so far. Overall, we're still good

I am too. I thought that there was a promo on FUNi's YouTube account a few weeks ago teasing broadcast dubs for several of their licencees, Attack on Titan & DB Super being 2 I remember being teased specifically, with more info to come April 1st. They had an official promo for it during one of the commercial breaks during Rick & Morty's mini-marathon in each airing & I don't think it was a joke on FUNi's part. Attack on Titan's extremely popular over here after all, so why not? They did the same with Space Dandy, only they aired it a day before it hit Japanese TVs & we're getting AOT S2 3 weeks after they air in Japan, but better that than nothing for a year, am I right? We'll have to wait on Super's announcement too see about it, & even then, they might just be fast-tracking the dub for their streaming services or something. We'll see.

Funi are dubbing My Hero Academia at the exact same time it releases in Japan. But AOT will probably be the usual 3 weeks late schedule.

On topic it seems even Funimation are confused.

So Adult Swim changed things without telling Funimation.

FLOWER MOUND, Texas, March 31, 2017 — The wait will soon be over for countless anime fans of “Attack on Titan” across the U.S. and Canada. Funimation® Entertainment announced today that “Attack on Titan” Season 2 will premiere on FunimationNow, Hulu and Crunchyroll on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern / 9:30 a.m. Central. Both the premiere and future English-subtitled simulcast episodes of the new season will be available across all three platforms as well as the Crunchyroll and Funimation channels on VRV. Details on Season 2 English SimulDub™ episodes will be shared within weeks.
Kind of an off-hand mention, but it is confirmation.

As an aside, I kinda hate that they've switched over to saying "SimulDub" now instead of "Broadcast Dub". It's not simultaneous when the majority of them are still several weeks behind...

I have a feeling they were just kidding about that. It's clear they just pushed Super back a week is all. If they start dubbing the next arc, if they haven't already, which that'd be amazing if they seriously put it off this bad, they have another week to finalize everything. It works better in their favor overall.

Okay yeah it is confirmed. It seems to be replacing JoJo. Simuldubs I love yet hate. They work for Dragon Ball or My Hero Academia cause the actors are all in house at Funimation. But one of the best things about AOT's dub was all the actors not in Texas. Bryce Papenbrook and Mathew Mercer mainly. At least AOT S2 doesn't introduce any new cast members besides the Beast Titan. Hopefully they get some good casting and a good script.

So I think this means almost all Funimation's current shows have been simuldubbed except for One Piece and Dragon Ball. I wonder how having Attack On Titan on Toonami will affect the ratings overall.

Not only FUNi didn't know but all the TV guides had regular schedule listed. I'm sorry but that was ridiculous. Not to mention AF is supposed to end at f**king noon. Of course Kai only airs when we get BDs this month, ffs.

This is a normal thing for Adult Swim. Remember 2012? Where suddenly on Saturday night Gohan VS Cell was airing, that single event brought Toonami back to what it is today. Tonight was the premiere of Rick and Morty Season 3. I understand this is a Dragon Ball forum, but I've seen how happy Rick and Morty fans were yesterday. So good on them and we should be happy for them. Adult Swim have done an April Fools ever chance it can. They used to air The Room every April Fools day. It's a tradition and calling it ridiculous is slightly over exaggerating it.

Yeah fair enough, just annoyed that we only have Super weekly so a break like this puts us behind further.

You know what would really help, Toonami gets it prime time slot back, Funimation simudubs Super, and DBS airs every day until it catches. But that will never happen, I still think they should simudub Super, they hinted at it not too long ago.

A sumuldub is practically impossible for DB unfortunately since the likes of Sean and Kyle don't live locally and I don't think the quality would be as good our only bet is if like Kai the BDs go ahead.
