I don't remember ever seeing a clearly obese person than managed to slim down to a normal or slim body size retain essentially the same head/face.

That's kind of the point... I don't recall anyone that, in those circumstances, didn't change pretty significantly in his head/face... Unless they just stored their fat in their belly and not really in their head/face, but that wasn't the case with Buu.

Still comparing to the previous version, there is a notable difference(it's almost a straight line now, as opposed to Fat Buu with a clear fat cheek, when viewed from that same angle), rubbishing your claim "his face didn't lose fat."

His head is still round as a ball, very puffed out everywhere, we still can't even see a chin or jaw line underneath his puffed out fat or any "angle" of his features, and the difference between his old head/face and the new one is a very slight one, while the rest of his body had a much drastic change.

The worst is that it's not proportional to what he has lost in the rest of his body.

Your point is simply "but he lost a little", like that somehow justifies being disproportional now to the rest of his body and being almost the same as it was.

If you want to call that "crap", well, go right ahead...

For the record, the relation between his head and body is far better/proportional here, in the actual art of Super:

They regained basically the same face/head they had while they were obese (just slightly smiler), and kept being thin in the rest of their body? I highly doubt that.

The middle image has an absolutely normal body which, despite not being muscular, has little excess fat, with only a little showing in the stomach area (aka the body of an average person). However, his head/face, despite being thinner, is still basically round as a ball, very puffed out everywhere (even if not as much the first image) and we still can't even see a chin or jaw line underneath his puffed out fat or any "angle" of his features (aka it's not the face/head of an average person). It's disproportional to how the rest of his body is and to how much he has lost in the rest of his body. The last image (from Super), despite depicting him as more muscular, ends up being more proportional.

This was my criticism from the start and it's clear to me that the middle image would have been better if a better sense of proportion between head and body and what he had lost had been reflected in it... namely by, just like the rest of body, having a face/head that appeared to be absolutely normal, with only a little fat showing at some points. This means that his features would have to show through and stuff like his jaw line would have to be at least a little noticeable. You are free to disagree and have another opinion but I believe that my point is easy to grasp and it's far from being "crap" as it has been mentioned.

I don't remember saying it was crap, that's hardly my style..
Buu's super's transformation is not the natural way a human has it, the middle may not be the perfect example but it's damn near close with the results of a guy who hasn't been in shape for a long time but just recently is going towards it..

I agree with his face still being roundish but it's passable for the duration of his weight loss and how it's not complete..
