Super Saiyan 4 Broli...Illogical?

Okay, i just had a thought. I know, Broly's not quite canon yet (please Super... please...) and his, I'm gonna call it LSS4 form is even more questionable. But I mean that in more ways than one.

Think of what it takes to achieve SS4.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GOLDEN OOZARU:

1: Must still have a tail OR have a method of absorbing mass amounts of blutz waves.
2: Must have already achieved Super Saiyan form.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPER SAIYAN 4:

1: Must achieve Golden Oozaru form.
2: Must regain senses or sense of self within Golden Oozaru form.

I have no doubt that, if he still has his tail, Broly can achieve Golden/Green Oozaru. But beyond that... let's be honest, this is BROLY we're talking about! His sense of self IS THAT OF A RAGING BEAST! So... would that make it harder or actually EASIER for him to go from Golden Oozaru, to "LSS4?"

I mean, the character is from old features/movies, and died long before SSJ4 was a consideration. Surely, the form is totally implausible, and no one on this website likely dislikes the character as much as I do, but I don't think the "What-if" forms (as the LSSJ4 Broli form is) are meant to be taken seriously or really thought too hard about at all. They're merely for fun, such as Janemba Bebi. Totally ridiculous, but part of me really likes the fact that there's a Dragon Ball medium where we get to see the possibilities and see things like SSJ4 Gohan where it doesn't exist in any other medium. Broli is, somehow, inexplicably and confusingly, a super popular character, and SSJ4 is an interesting transformation, so I totally get why the character was featured in Dragon Ball Heroes.

Amusingly, in the trailer for SSJ4 Broli from Dragon Ball Heroes, they give a silly hand-wave to all the SSJ4 rules by having the Evil Dragon simply do some kind of magic thingy to Broli and BOOM, SSJ4! Because shut up, that's why!

As far as your wish for Broli to become canon, that isn't going to happen. However, I dunno if you've seen any of the recent footage from the tournament, but... I won't spoil it if you haven't, but there's a quite obvious nod to Broli fans featured in a lot of the promotional material for the upcoming arc of Super.

^ so two things. The first movie shows that Broly is conscious and capable. It isn't until the 2nd movie that he becomes crazed. He's just plain sadistic in the first movie.

2nd, if nothing else the LSSJ form may become canon which is arguably more important than Broly himself. It literally means that Broly is now at least a possibility in canon. Considering the universes are twins it's not unthinkable that there should be a universe 6 and 7 version of Broly or at least LSSJ.

yeah, i've already seen the Female LSS, and i'm hyped for her proper introduction. which is why i'm hoping someone will mention broly.

also, a select few people, me included, have taken to calling her Cauli.

and you mentioned the shadow dragon making broly LSS4. i had thought about that AFTER posting.

and frankly, i find it a legitimate option. Broly has already achieved super saiyan, so it's just a matter of bypassing the Golden Oozaru form.

also, the wish is legitimately grantable, since it shouldn't really have anything to do with giving or taking power, just a shift in forms, and as we know, the forms are what control the power multipliers.

also, i do believe that since he gained the form, regaining it should he lose it should now be possible if he still has his tail, correct?

It's not illogical, it's a "what-if" issue. He has a tail and has the Super Saiyan form, here enters Dragon Ball Heroes, presenting us what if Broly manages to control himself while in Golden Great Ape form. Because we know (?) Broly may not be able to control himself in said form.

I know the thread is for Broly but since aside from Goku and Vegeta, just Broly and GT Gohan have the form, I'd like to bring the latter into the discussion too:

GT Gohan achieving Super Saiyan 4 isn't illogical as well, although not specified in the GDM5 trailer, GT Gohan follows GT's logic, if Goku had a tail that could be pulled out, logically he would have it as well, since he once had a tail too.

I always understood that in the dub all Saiyans can access SS4 at will once they have achieved it.

What?, it's specifically documented that Toriyama likes SSJ4 it's pretty clear where you pulled that nugget of information from.

Um, I'm pretty sure that Akira Toriyama specifically started writing new material specifically because he hated how stupid SSJ4 Broly from Heroes was. I don't recall precisely where I saw it but I'm actually pretty sure it's somebody here's signature.
