Supersonic Warriors 2

Post by Thanos6 » Thu Jul 26, 2007 12:21 am

Picked up a used copy of this at GameStop and I'm pleasantly surprised. The switching out is fun as are the support characters.

One of the touches I like is not only do we get the old "Son Triple Kamehameha" with Goku, Gohan, and Goten all blasting away, but we get a "Briefs Triple Final Flash" as well, with Vegeta, Mirai, and Trunks all uniting for one giant beam. (Extra nice touch: Vegeta starts the attack by shouting "Come on brats!")

Being pushed to my limits by "God Goku" at the very end of Maximum Mode; any tips?

Well, what I did was have my team consist of Goku (Normal), SSJ2 Gohan, and Bardock. Start with Goku and use Bardock so you continually get 200 Ki. Keep using your triple team attack on him until he dies. In the event your Goku is killed first, Gohan will instantly activate his Frenzy ability, which raises his attack. Keep using Bardock to replenish your Ki throughout the battle and launch your super moves at God Goku.

Yes, very good game. It satiated my DBZ urges until I got Shin Budokai 2, and so much more.

Just keep trying, and try more strategic approaches rather than trying to overpower him. 'Cuz overpowering him just plain won't work.

I actually beat him with base Goku. I forget exactly how though, it was a couple months ago (and I barely even remember what I had for dinner last night). I think I beat him by keeping my distance and kept chucking Spirit Bombs at him. :?

Interesting strategies, I'll be sure to give them a try. Thanks guys!

I'm also trying to beat him with the Briefs family; I've come THIS DAMN CLOSE, at one point you literally couldn't see his lifebar, it was so low, but then he bloody zipped around and knocked me out before I could finish him.

I've been wanting to pick it up, but I heard it wasn't as good as the first one (which I have)?

Just took that bastard down!

And I only needed Gotenks to do it!

*begin moving characters*

*put Gotenks right under Goku*

FIGHT!

"Galactic Donuts!"

"Galactic Donuts!"

*fly around him, gather ki, fly around him, gather ki*

"Galactic Donuts!"

*gather more ki*

"TRIPLE FINAL FLASH!"

Ahh...that relieved all my stress from the day.

God Goku? ;_; Is this some new form, or is it just an ultra-cheap version of the original?
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Nah, he's an ultra powerful Goku (Whom you can't unlock, sadly), along with Bastard Broly and Psycho Cell.
Awesome fighting them, to this day.
I hate to ask an off topic question, but does anybody know if the soundtrack has been ripped? 'Cause that game has some awesome music.

I've ripped some music from the game. If you want, I can upload the stuff tomorrow.
