Out of those I like Tsuji, Karaswa, Ishikawa, Tate, Shimanuki and Manabe. Voted Tsuji.

I voted Manabe. I can't wait to see Manabe draw Vegeta again, his style is sooo different now compared to what it was in 56.

That toma Vegeta looks good. I always thought that was Kenji Kuroyanagi, but I guess not.

Does anyone know who's Goku is this? aside Iseki, this is the most beautiful Goku I've seen in all Super IMO.

I'm not a fan of this shot, the thick line on Goku's face is supposed to give more expression, but here i think it doesn't work well

Yeah, but still, the anger in his face is fairly well expressed, more than many shots I've seen so far.

That was my initial guess back when the episode first aired, but that style is so persistent throughout that I can't imagine it's anyone but the supervisor. On top of that, it really just looks like a polished take on the style we've come to know Toma for... which reminds me that I still haven't redone his entry for episode 4.

I still don't know for certain. It's so close-up that you can't really see any identifying traits, even in the profile shot before the head-turn. There was some similar stuff in episode 10, so I feel like it's a toss-up between Ide and Ishikawa.

Did anyone even notice that Toei never even bothered to animate the hair?

Now that you've mentioned it and I look at it more carefully, reminds me of this Ide's shot, so it could be...?

Toei didn't do that part. And yeah, it stood out, luckily they had actual movement in that stuff in the second half when Gohan and Piccolo were together.

Or the clothes. This is my main complain with this episode. Even when Goku and Buu were fighting, there was a scene were Buu was flying and his cape was still and it felt really unnatural.

Best Goku: It's a tie between Shimanuki and Yokoyama (even though she's not there).
I do agree that for Karasawa that isn't the best shot but his best drawings of Goku is always in SSB, as far I remember.

Best vegeta: Manabe by a smile. His Vegeta usually looks older and more ruthless compared to anyone else version. That shot is not the best example though.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

Oh, Toei never? My mistake. The Piccolo and Gohan scene was a big improvement from this haha.

First half was outsourced. Toei's staff has been pretty good about animating hair and clothes recently, even Yashima did it in episode 84.

It sucks that they didn't animate the hair, but do you think that scene is badly drawn ? I think it's pretty acceptable for what it is.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Not badly drawn, it's just Goku's derp eyes what makes me shake my head.

The art is fine, the lack of hair and clothing animation wouldn't be that bad if they didn't draw attention to it in the close of shot up Goku by making it look like his hair was in the middle of moving.

He's not talking about the lack of hair and clothing animation from my understanding though. When someone was talking about the animation he says that (the animation ) and that picture are negatives implying he's talking about two different topics .

Pretty much just picked everyone who has had multiple episodes on Super, which is why Iseki and Yamamuro aren't included.
Shimanuki knows to draw Goku better, he's the best by far, already voted

Those first seconds of the episode were awful!

Is that really hard for them to do something like this?
