Re: Official "Show off your Dragonball Crap" Thread
Figured I'd also post what I'm waiting to come in the mail:
DB Street Fighter Crossover Fan Manga
Some DB fan manga that I'm really hoping isn't pornographic (it's called power level 69 but the preview pages didnt look pronographic <. < )
DB SD 3 and 4
The rest of the Full Color Freeza Arc
A guide for Super Butouden 2
Some art book I don't know the name of
A statue of SSJ Vegeta performing Final Flash
The newest Goku shodo figure
Edit: Oh!! I forgot to mention I won a print of Piccolo signed by Sabat for $16.50! Came with a photo of Sabat signing it as proof. I've seen similar prints go for a 100 +. It also came with a custom made hotwheels can with Freeza and Goku

Cheers! Had to be patient and not over spend on the rare-er Gashapons like Goku grabbing Freeza's hand or the one when Goku leaves after Freeza cuts himself in half, luckily I managed to eventually find good deals on them. Was gonna do every arc but I am kind of worn out Though I guess others arcs won't be as big as the Namek/Freeza one.Gogito wrote:That's really impressive! Re: Official "Show off your Dragonball Crap" Thread
Picked up some CDs and some Famicom and Super Famicom games
Also, I found a bootleg copy of a Famicom cart that apparently contains two of the Famicom games. I don't have a Famicom to test it, but I thought it was interesting.

Ah yes, Famicom cartridges are definitely "sophisticated apparatus('s)", especially considering how a few NES emulators are cycle accurate yet can pretty much run on toasters...

Kind of an interesting thing I often forget about it, I've had this booklet since I was a kid. Came from a Pojo Collector Card World magazine, for those who remember those. I used to love those magazines. This booklet briefly covers DB/DBZ for a western audience, mentioning films (namely fusion reborn) and ending by talking about trading cards and other merchandise.
Re: Official "Show off your Dragonball Crap" Thread
I still have my copy of this floating around somewhere in my belongings, though it is MUCH more worn n' torn than your copy. Glad you've kept it so crisp! There was a ton of new info for American readers in there, I thought it was bonkers as a kid. The ads in the back of the booklet grow more hilarious with each passing year, too.Kerunou wrote:Kind of an interesting thing I often forget about it, I've had this booklet since I was a kid. It might be worth scanning and cataloging some day.

Thanks, I agree. I thought about scanning it after the fact. I read it after I posted that picture and I realized it actually talks about both DB, DBZ, and DBGT surprisingly. Also makes an attempt to go over important characters over the course of the franchise. I still have the full magazine it came with somewhere, too. Certainly a relic from a much different time and place.Lunaar wrote:I still have my copy of this floating around somewhere in my belongings, though it is MUCH more worn n' torn than your copy. Ok so I have a question that I'm not exactly sure where to put it so I'll just ask it here. For anyone that has the GT VHS of Ruination did every release of it have the production error with the spine image or am I just unlucky? It's sorta bothersome
Re: Official "Show off your Dragonball Crap" Thread
Ah, I definitely don't have the original magazine anymore. Pojo was pretty ahead of the time for a hot minute!Kerunou wrote:Thanks, I agree. I thought about scanning it after the fact. We can't be sure of what you mean without a photo attached, mate!Tobi555 wrote:Ok so I have a question that I'm not exactly sure where to put it so I'll just ask it here. Daimo-Ruki thank you! Unwittingly, you just reminded me that my first Z Dragon Box is missing it's book. More often than not we don't see Dragonbooks from the Japanese Dragon Boxes being displayed, so seeing them totally jogged that memory. Does anybody know if there's somebody who has an extra Japanese Z Book 1?
Edit: How rude of me, your collection is beautiful, we both went for the same approach, the heart of my collection is essentially the same as yours. "Essentials" if you will. Please repost when your shelves arrive!

and inside their boxes well except the US boxes (they're better outside)
