Not sure how reliable that is or not but it'd be one more thing to confirm if it was. Ideally Vegito really should be stronger than Beerus or it just makes the Battle of God's saga look more bizarre.
Holy shit.

Unless Merged Zamasu got considerably weaker after fighting Vegetto, that would mean Trunks surpassed Beerus with the Genkidama sword.
OR.......... Future Trunks just fought better and the Genki-dama Sword merely made up for the difference in power. Not every fight depends on power, as the anime has been making a point of since RoF.

Being a sword, the technique, despite possessing less Genki, would likely be more effective than a standard Genki-dama due to its shape's stabbing/cutting properties as we saw with Goku Black's extremely efficient Ki blades, not to mention that Future Trunks was already channeling his Ki into a sword shape beforehand.

Also, Merged Zamasu's fusion was failing with each passing moment, especially after a protracted bout with an equal in SSB Vegetto, and he was arguably an even more evil entity than Pure Buu, since he not only killed innocent people, but took pleasure in doing so and felt he was actually just in doing so, the worst kind of villain that Dragon Ball has seen yet. Think Freeza's sadism multiplied by Kid Buu's mania with a hint of Toppo's sense of justice.

Well, that's why I said with the Genki sword haha. Without it Trunks is obviously not touching Zamasu, Vegetto or Beerus.

Interesting that Merged Zamasu is way weaker in the manga. I mean, that's the logical way and how he should have been in the anime, weaker than Vegetto but inmortal, but at the same time I feel a bit dissapointed since it seems there is quite a big gap between them, so maybe he is even weaker than Beerus...Which would make the arc even more lame.

It wouldn't work on Vegetto or Beerus since neither of them are evil. Maybe do a little bit of something to Beerus since he's a bit of an asshole, but not much else.

Future Trunks with the Genki-dama Sword is only a match for Merged Zamasu, and that's only due to the latter's failing fusion, his extremely evil nature, and his hubris causing him to not fight Trunks intelligently.

Well, Merged Zamasu does 3 powers up since his "birth".

These latest chapters truly changed my mind on the manga. It's a great complement for the anime since it has cleared a lot of things like confirming Saiyan beyond God and what tier Vegetto (and Merged Zamasu) where in.

Let's see how it handles 17's power next.

What? manga and anime are different :? Trunks does not have a new form in the manga and probably we'll never see Genkidama sword. All people in the manga are dead.
I see absolutely no reason to have Vegetto's power be different in the anime. In fact I see no reason to have anyone's power be different with the exception of transformations not seen in both mediums.
Yeah, but Trunks power is different. In the manga is more weaker.

Shit, I forgot that in the manga Trunks is SSJ3 tier without Ikari. In any case, nothing contradicts Vegetto and Zamasu being GoD tier in the anime.

Edit: Although Trunks get's to SSJ3 tier with an upgraded new SSJ2 transformation, so my previous point still stands.

Just had another look at the manga and even though it's incomplete from what I can see Zamasu doesn't put up any fight against Vegito whatsoever.

I'd say that the Merged Zamasu here is the equivalent of the initial Merged Zamasu in the anime and not the powered up Light of Justice (not Absolution) Zamasu that allowed him to put up a fight.

So despite there being differences if we tried to tie this in with the anime you'd get and a little bit of this is assumption

SSJB Vegito > Merged Zamasu (Light of Justice) > Beerus > SSJB Goku Kaioken x2 (FT saga) > Merged Zamasu > SSJB Goku Kaioken x10 (U6 saga)

Not to mention f.zamasu was able to trade blows with ssjb goku while ssj god was enough to rekt him

Goku was still able to damage him with a Kame Hame Ha trough, even more than in the anime. I don't see why he should be so much powerful in the manga. I mean , in any moment he is presented as an equal to Vegetto, while in the anime they had a less one-sided fight.

How did it confirm SbG? The manga version is the only one which doesn't have them. In fact, we don't even know what happened in the ROF events.

As long as he is not God tier, which just makes BoG extremely lame, I will be ok with that. In my ideal book trough he should be at SS2 tier as much.

Future Zamasu is not SSB tier. Not only did SSJ2 Trunks overpowered him twice but it makes no sense from a story perceptive for him to be stronger than base Black.

Well, Zamasu in the manga right now should be equal to his pre-halo self.

DBZGTKOSH explained it in detail a few pages back but the gist of it is that Black was a Saiyan beyond God because his SSR wasn't dozens of times stronger than SSB Vegeta as it should be if he had just a regular base.

I think he's SSJ2 tier in the anime as of now.

how the Manga confirm Saiyan beyond God, because I thought the Anime did it first

He is it and trunks was abli par some blows from black where before black stomped his in base with utter ease
And that he was strong enough to hold down goku and trunks for blacks kamehameha says otherwise.

Well, maybe is just me, but the difference between anime Trunks and manga Trunks is clear. In the anime, Trunks can deal with Black (and then with Merged Zamasu) and he seems to be Goku/Vegeta SSJB level, while in the manga he's always get stomped by Black. That's why many people say that anime Trunks is an asspull.

And people is so sure that we'll see Trunks vs merged Zamasu in the next chapter?

Of course anime trunks is different with manga trunks
Manga was nothing but blacks punching bag
Anime was par some blows from him when he was in rose in ssj2 before getting a form thats truly puts him on goku and vegeta.

Which just makes the statement even more bizarre. Kaioshin has no fucking clue at all as to how strong Beerus is. So for him to make that assumption is just dumb.

We don't know if he has or not seen his full power but since he's making a comparison about Beerus power, my money is that he indeed has seen it.
