Hopefully we hear Zamasu's dub voice. I can't wait to see who voices him.

I'm more worried about Schemmel's Goku Black than anything else. We already got a taste of it with the pre-order bonus and the uber gruff SSJ4 voice was frankly a horrible voice to go with. Goku Black is just Goku but with a smug attitude and more refined dialect. Theres no need to alter the tone or pitch whatsoever.

Totally agree it sounded like Goku trying to impersonate Solid Snake. I'm hoping Xenoverse gives Schemmel enough practice to figure out his Goku Black.

Interestingly enough, Schemmel's Black is what I hear whenever I read Black's dialogue in the manga.

I know, it's annoying that Heroes and Fusions has Rosé since 2016 for free, but XV2 took a lot of time to give us Rosé and It's not free, not only that, but we have to wait every time to information to come at the last minute for only a few characters at the end of the month. Why Bandai treats XV2 players as thrash? Almost every game that had crossovers with other games received a bonus characters, but XV2 had them and we didn't receive anything.

The time and money that goes into creating a fighting game character is much, MUCH more than creating a character for a turn based RPG. How is releasing the DLC at the end of the month treating the fan base like trash? Would you rather they release glitchy, unfinished DLC early in the month? I don't understand people's issue with the DLC coming at the end of the month, they never said that the DLCs would come at the beginning of the months and the end of the month is no less valid of a time to release something.
Scans coming last has nothing to do with Bandai, it's just that the Japanese fanbase don't care as much about console games as the western fanbase.

I know that releasing it at the beginning of the month is not very smart either, but at the middle of it the DLC have to be at least very polished and it's very likely that they already had it finished. It's like when you announce a character appearing in a movie, or when a trailer shows "the main plot", just so that this is a minimal part of it or only appears 5 minutes. It's not very different, and I don't see how this is a good marketing strategy. A lot of us are very annoyed for the fact that this nonsense will not stop soon and a lot of players have already left the game.

There was zero reason for you to think that they were coming out in the middle of months, Bandai never said anything of the sort. DLC releases when it's done, be it the beginning, middle or end of the month, it makes no difference, it's done when it's done.
Your comparison at the end there makes zero sense.

A character in Xenoverse is a whole different beast than the likes of Fusions or Heroes.

i honestly dont get why we need previews of dlc content, just let us play them lol.

It's basic marketing for any product, you give out snippets to get the audience excited while you finaize it.

The stream isn't intended for the folks looking for the quick, factual tidbits about upcoming content.

The stream is intended for the fans of the "influencers" (a general term for these folks, as well as Bandai Namco's own language) they bring on. It's to build one community on top of another community, while selling them material in the process. It's to advertise. This is the current state of game marketing: side-stepping the press entirely, using your own biggest fans as a platform to speak to a broader audience of other fans.

That may be the case but i dont see a stream doing anywhere near as well as a single trailer or three smaller videos shared across their official channels. In my head the ultimate goal here is more views but if youre saying the goal is to build a community than I see your point.

I guess I've just moved away from people like rhymestyle as they just often reiterate what official sources release. I have no intention of watching an entire live stream but ill definitetly skim through it to see a few new characters in action.
