At what age do you personally think that someone is old enough to watch Dragon Ball?

Plenty people replied seriously, why not go the other way round once a while

Not many parents, though. To me this would be very interesting if other parents talked, as I'm a father myself.Ki Breaker wrote:It wasn't meant to be serious..sangofe wrote:

If I had to consider this seriously, It would be okay for kids to watch this when they start to find it interesting..sangofe wrote:Not many parents, though. As a kid , I remember I used to drop whatever I didn't find interesting, I dropped db too after I lost interest..
It's only when I was 18 that I actually watched the dragonball franchise..
To conclude, as soon as the kid developes interest in it and it isn't effecting his day to day activities negatively, it's fine to watch Dragonball..
Kids shouldn't be sheltered too much, and Dragonball's main focus isn't on sexuality either..
If you are up for it, I would like to know your thoughts on the topic as well

One they are able to grasp the concept of fiction and differentiate between fiction and reallity.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

I'm surprise that some people here seen Basic Instinct since I notice most people here only like to watch kids stuff. Also I feel bad for your current roommate. I guess he is probably had a shelter life growing up.Netter75 wrote:As others have said, it depends on the child. I know I could handle the violence and sex in movies like Basic Instinct and A Nightmare on Elm Street when I was 5-6 (they were my favorites haha) but my current roommate can't even handle something toothless like the 2008 Prom Night remake. Parents know their kids, its all relative.

That just means that anybody over 18 shouldn't be watching it!Cipher wrote:18. They actually show kids' dicks in this thing!

Shonen just means young boys in Japan. In Japan, view Dragon Ball no different on how we view Transformers and Ninja Turtles, shows for kids. I still think a 6 or 7 year old can watch the whole series just fine.

I started watching when I was 9. Back then I was only allowed to watch the edited VHSs.
Which didn't bother me

This highly depends on the fact that was brought up by Neo-Makaiōshin:Hellspawn28 wrote:Shonen just means young boys in Japan. In Japan, view Dragon Ball no different on how we view Transformers and Ninja Turtles, shows for kids. I still think a 6 or 7 year old can watch the whole series just fine.
