Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Having to just have Bojack's clothing in your possession but not actually wearing them to get him to train you seems weird as hell. And it's just his clothing you have to have, or the outfits from his henchmen as well?
I suppose I should ask for final clarification of one more thing before I even worry about that though. You really do have to have PS+ to get access to those outfits (and hence his training/skills), you can't just be connected to the internet via the regular lobby like with the rest of the game? Because if so, I am pissed. Talk about ripping people off. I paid good money for the DLC so I could use it. Nothing was ever said before now that some of it would be behind a further PS+ paywall, so if that's really how it is, I'm annoyed as hell at Bandai Namco.

Also, apologies if this was already discussed (as it probably was), but where are the new outfits (Black, Zamasu, others?) available? Are they in the TP Medal Shop, PQs, or something else I'm probably forgetting?
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
You need the two henchmen's full outfits (Including the accessories) to start the training, and then just before the final lesson you'll be taske with bringing all of Bojack's clothes (This time you have to wear them). You don't need PS+ to get said outfits as far as I' aware (I don't know how the TP shop works on the consoles), just need access to the TP shop.Gyt Kaliba wrote:Having to just have Bojack's clothing in your possession but not actually wearing them to get him to train you seems weird as hell. PQs get you Mai's, Black's and Zamasu's outfits. Daishinkan's, Future Trunks', Magetta's outfits and some of the techniques are missing from the TP Medal Shop for some reason. Really hope they don't become Metal Cooler outfit and vanish without a chance to get them.
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
So where are Goku Black and Zamasu's moves? They both are missing some, and the quests don't offer any of them on PC.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

They're in the game, but it appears you can only access them through mods. No, they come from free DLC, which for some reason as well it wasn't announced nor it was commented about in any official media. Free DLC was silently released on Monday but its content is unavailable until now.

Oh thank Kami. Just hopped onto my game long enough to check, and it looks like they are there in the TP Shop. Just have to get enough Medals to get it all...which is gonna be a pain.Kanassa wrote:You need the two henchmen's full outfits (Including the accessories) to start the training, and then just before the final lesson you'll be taske with bringing all of Bojack's clothes (This time you have to wear them). Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
So considering these moves and costume that are gotten from the TP shop are time only, but are also marketed as Season Pass DLC, what happens for people who buy the season pass in another 2 months time after all the DLC is released? Can they never get some of the content they paid for due to content they paid for then being time limited and....oh this is just so freakin stupid.
And for someone like me who can't play the game this weekend due to life, am I going to be forever locked out of Bojack's training now?Gyt Kaliba wrote:Oh thank Kami. Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
So far as I know, the DLC is still there in the TP shop and wherever it lands, no matter when you get it/how long it takes you to play and get enough in-game currency of some form to get it. You just have to get online sometime over the weekend (Friday-Sunday) and ave enough cash/TP Medals to get them.
The TP Medal Shop being tied to the weekend is a pain to me a lot of the times to, seeing as how I work over 90% of my days over the weekend, and am often too tired to get on the game after work even if I wanted to. I usually just have to pop on long enough, when I can, to buy some stuff and then do actual playing later on.

You can always get your Internet disconnected and set the date to weekend. But even if you do that, the new outfits won't appear in the TP Medal Shop.

Kogu and Bujin's outfits appeared in the TP shop when I set the date ahead on Tuesday (and Bojack's in duplicate).

I haven't opened the TP shop in months, but I remember the items there cycling. So I assumed some items are time only. Will the Space Pirates outfits be there every week or not? Either way it's ridiculous that paying for DLC in XV2 gives you the opportunity to unlock what you paid for given you MUST play the game during a particular time for what you bought. Instead of just giving you what you paid for and was advertised all the time to play whenever you want. It'd be like if Animal Crossing had paid DLC which after you bought, found out only worked on weekends.Kanassa wrote:No, they just have to wait for the weekend. Only a few things cycle, other than those few, DLC moves, accessories and clothes don't move. And you don't have to play during a particular time, as has already been stated multiple times, you can change the time on your system to the weekend.NintendoBlaze53 wrote:I haven't opened the TP shop in months, but I remember the items there cycling. Just keep grinding Super Saiyan Blue Goku's Expert Mission. It gives out 16 medals each time you complete it.Gyt Kaliba wrote:

On a side note, leveled up from 86 to 88 this way and I put the points in health but my health bar did not increase. Why?

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
To be honest, I actually am fond of the whole voice change regarding Goku Black for some strange reason. Seeing how that aggressively gravel tone changes to a more posh, sophisticated and elegant tone of narcissism (which in the show, Black actually goes on a pretentious and narcissistic speech about his divine self upon transforming) with a British accent upon transforming is quite interesting in a very unusual way. I just find the striking contrast so extremely fascinating.dbzfan7 wrote:Both Goku Black and Zamasu sound terrible. Got more of a taste now. Goku Black is randomly british and still misses the point, and Zamasu doesn't even sound like he is trying at all. Hopefully by the anime dub they vastly improve. I have no idea what is so hard about having Goku Black sound similar to Goku, but creepy. Instead he sounds like an edge lord, or British. Zamasu just needs more passion instead of sounding so dead inside.
Though I will agree that Zamasu's voice is terrible and I hope it improves when they get to the dub of that arc.

While collecting TP Medals, I picked the new characters and tested them out. SSR Goku Black is fun to play with, Zamasu's Heaven's Arrow is pretty good, and Bojack's Reverse Launcher is one of the skills that I had a blast using (no pun intended). I love it!

Does Bojack (Base Form), Goku Black as Batman, Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black as some British dude, or the (suspiciously) German Zamasu slip out any interesting dialog we never knew before?
