Not going to happen if we go by the opening, but he could put that gi after the tournament. I really hope he will because I love that gi, though it seems like they won't drop Goku's classic look.

Even for GT, they couldn't keep it and abandoned the new pants. I guess orange is too iconic for Goku NOT to wear a piece in that color.
And maybe even Toriyama isn't fond of the new gi, considering his attitude toward the EoZ designs. I'd say the odds of it being forever limited to EoZ are quite high.

I can't get over how bland Jiren's design is. I know I wasn't crazy about Hit's personality, but at least he had a design that was fun to look at (even if it was just a mash up of Jotaro and his stand).

I hope Jiren has an interesting personality to balance himself out.

I can't get over how bland Jiren's design is. I know I wasn't crazy about Hit's personality, but at least he had a design that was fun to look at (even if it was just a mash up of Jotaro and his stand).

Basically it might be the grand priest training gi given to him after the tournament

Basically it might be the grand priest training gi given to him after the tournament

It'll be even more striking if Goku's next form turns out to have white hair, then he'll literally look the part. I wonder if AT still plans on having Goku's hair go white or not anymore and decided to just make the white stuff a mist surrounding his body in base form.

That's one thing I love about Tori's "villains." Most of them have pretty simple, basic designs. Jiren is just a grey alien who's more shredded than a bag of cheese. With Toei you get villains like Janemba or Hirudegarn or Omega Shenron who have a lot of spikes and segmented armor.

I like Jiren's face and clothes. It's the body I have a problem with. Way too bulky. I've never seen the appeal of having insanely bulky bodies. I think ultimate Gohan against boo had the perfect body imo. It wasn't huge, but he still had a nice amount of muscles.

I don't remember having anyone like that In Dragonball before, he's got that going for him at Least..
Also, pride troopers are basically heros of Justice..
Goku fighting an actual superhero is too good of a scenario, even if jiren is generic it will only help the case, Goku's difference with traditional superheros will shine brightly

Yeah, I cover that in my theory as well, if we can figure out what goes best with eoz we have a chance at guessing the next transformation...
I am skeptical about white because of the op red hue, but that could just be a red herring..hahaha.. get it?.. no? Ok..

I still think white hair is best suited for this scenario

Agreed,grey alien are just not that interesting to look at imo,jiren just lack of interesting facial expressions,he should have look like this ,the animators or Toyo better Make him more expressive

through is cool to see character based on extra terrestrial things,we never see a character like that in the db world
