Gohan vs Female Broly is the dream match I want to see in this Tournament. With all the hype Gohan is getting, I think she is the best choice to make him shine.

C17 is algo getting a lot of hype, so he may fight some Pride Troopers. Probably Kahseral in a cyborg vs cyborg match.

Jiren is Goku's prey.

Hit and Vegeta will most likely lose to Jiren to the plot hype him up more, but both of them will beat some characters before they lose.

Buu got excited with Universe 9 "dogs", so he may go after them.

Piccolo may ask Frost for a proper rematch.

No idea about the others.

As for the winner, it's impossible to predict Akira Toriyama's writing.

I'd love to see Krillin Vs. Cabba myself. Seeing how Krillin fares against a Super Saiyan would be nice.

I think Gohan's opponent will be Cauli, or rather since it looks like Gohan and Piccolo may team up, it may turn out to be Gohan and Piccolo V Cauli and Cabba, Vegeta's with the teletubby while Goku's with Jiren.
Those 3 are the most hyped in our side and the other side (based from the magazine and the OP at least), Toppo can also be a good match for Gohan.
I just hope I get to watch everything before NK decides to nuke Japan.

Well eventually by the end of the tournament there's only going to be one main character left standing, against one opponent character from the other universes.

Not necessarily, the rules specifically notes that after the 48 minutes time limit runs out, the team with the most member wins, so there’s a chance that there will be more than two fighters left standing in the end.

Heck, it might be even possible that Goku and Vegeta will be the left standing after all other fighters are eliminated, and they fight each other. Based on the past arcs, I expect some typical Toriyama twist in the end.

That has a high probability of happening, have some dramatic effects with Vegeta finding out that its because of Goku that their universe has a chance of going boom and have his daddy instincts kick in with some flashbacks of Bra,Bulma and Trunks dying and add some of the humiliations he had to endure because of Goku and we have a Goku V Vegeta part 3, I wouldnt even be surprised if he tries to fight Goku even if there are still other competitors.

Gohan vs Caulifla..hmmm Biggest potential among the Z fighters vs biggest potential among the U6 Saiyans and the rematch from Movie 10(Where Gohan couldnt beat Broly by himself).

Although Gohan vs Toppo also makes sense, Gohan loved Toppos poses, and I would like for Gohan to show him his Saiyaman poses, it would be hilarious, the bad thing is it could lead to Jiren finding it insulting and might go for Gohan in order to teach him a lesson.

I think everyone is going to get a chance to shin but its not just U11 and U6 thats a threat. They all will be.

Bergamo may steal power nut he become strong enough to make Goku go SSB, and Basil and Lavenda are a threat to the weaker team members. In the into the chubby, blue alien is powerful enough to battle SS Vegeta.

If Bergamo is the strongest fighter from the lowest universe then there are bound to be at least a few in the same level of Goku, Vegeta, Hit, Bergamo and Toppo.

Besides Hit, the other fighters who also have high chance in jobbing to Jiren the Gray.

17: He is Blue level based on his sparring with Goku and he was holding back.

Gohan: He will reach Blue level and maybe force Goku use Kaioken in episode 90, fans better pray he doesnt get to face Jiren or he will job hard.

Vegeta: He always jobs to the main antagonist.

Bergamo: He lost to Kaioken Goku, and Jiren 1 shotting him with barely putting effort would also be a good way to hype him.

Yeah, jiren is pretty darn storng, when the concept of tag team is introduced, I assume there's going to be many fights using this, fighting jiren could and should be one of them

I pray to Kami Jiren goes straight for Goku, we all know both of them aint biting the dust early with all the hype they're getting.

Not a big deal, Krillin was able to push Goku into SSJ, 7 of U7 are stronger than Krillin by a landslide.

Bergamo would be extremely dangerous as a support character, he tanks all that damage like the typical meat shield while the rest of Universes participants go for all U7 members, if its true everyone will team against U7...

I’m really looking forward to the Universe 6 fighters, Magetta and Botamo are both very durable and seems to be good friends, so perhaps we’ll see some combination attacks between them like the baseball episode. There’s Frost too, maybe he’ll have a new form.

I can't get over how bland Jiren's design is. I know I wasn't crazy about Hit's personality, but at least he had a design that was fun to look at (even if it was just a mash up of Jotaro and his stand).

I hope Jiren has an interesting personality to balance himself out.

Understandable, though I find how simplistic his design is to just make him more interesting to me. Now with all the hype he's been getting, I can't wait until he interacts with Goku.

It's so much that we need. It's more so that this has always happened in Dragon Ball, so people are expecting it to happen again. It's a very likely chance that somebody is going to be used as a hype tool for Jiren.

While I do like Hit and I think there is more to him then some give him credit for, the scene with him in U6 as so good moments. However characters like Hit, Kanshiro and Jotaro, benefit from a larger caste to play off of and develop around. Hit who is not even a member of the main caste suffers greatly because of this.

Also since Hit did technically did beat Goku in the last tournament and Goku can know match him as SSB alone.....well you know what happens to "Last Tournaments Champion" in Dragon Ball. I'm beating that vile assassin will be defeated by the noble hero of Universe 11, Jiren the Gray.

I really hope they won't ruin Hit. He will probably go down but I hope he won't be made a joke and I also want him to beat many fighters using his time-skip.

I'd want for this too, though I can't deny the high chance of him getting dumpstered in this tournament.

I agree on Jiren having a bland design. Toriyama is known for his simple designs, but what make most of them stand out is that they look very appealing (like Pure Boo, for example). I don’t really get the same vibes from Jiren; he looks very uninteresting to me.

I’m looking forward to his personality, though (hopefully, he won’t be another stoic-type guy like Hit).

He's being hyped up as a major rival of Son Goku. Chances are he'll be stoic, which is unfortunate.

Bandai are really pushing Jiren, more gashapons...

Krillin already proved the mind battle was inaccurate when he beat Gohan.

I wonder what Universe is the teletubbie from? She was in the same group as Caulifla and Jiren, wont be surprised if she is from U6, Champa needs more Blue level fighters if he wants to secure the win.

I feel like Toppo served as the fodder to set up Jiren. He held his ground against Goku and wasn't scared to take on the Kaioken. That Jiren is so much stronger establishes him pretty solidly as the premier threat for the tournament. I won't be surprised if he immediately makes a beeline for Goku once the fighting starts.

Actually super has been quite predictible for so far,except what Trunks pulled at the end of black arc,i predicted everything but that,as i said i don't know who will be second strongest to hype up Jiren, right now i think it's Vegeta but 17 was holding back i don't know how strong he is and Gohan is gonna get an asspull power up on episode 90 soon.

But then again Yamcha was also a bad guy starting out, maybe bad guy team isn't really the intent just a coincidence
