Light Grenade vs Tri-Beam. I expect a clone fight between Piccolo and Tien.

Tien loses to Piccolo any day of the month, piccolo was par with SS2 gohan and exploited Mystic Gohan's weakness when he wasn't strong enough to match it, unless tien jumped to SS levels as well it's not fair to compete light grenade vs tri beam..

Also, piccolo did a great fucking job in making gohan regain his warrior heart, that guy knows how to get shit done

We still don't know how strong Piccolo and Tien are. However Piccolo is definitely stronger than SS2 Gohan. Piccolo and Tien will dominate the tag team with all their attacks that Goku and Gohan lack. I want Piccolo to do his arm trick on Goku.

I hope the tag team is the majority of the episode as it just sounds more exciting as it is something we have never seen before.

I actually like the minimal screentime Vegeta is getting in this arc. The show is giving more spotlight to other side characters, and it's been great. They're really trying to tell the fans that it won't be just the Goku and Vegeta show this time. Focusing too much on Vegeta and Goku was starting to get boring honestly, so this is a nice change.

Completely agree. I wouldn't mind if Vegeta jobs this time either

I actually like the minimal screentime Vegeta is getting in this arc. The show is giving more spotlight to other side characters, and it's been great. They're really trying to tell the fans that it won't be just the Goku and Vegeta show this time. Focusing too much on Vegeta and Goku was starting to get boring honestly, so this is a nice change.

Yeah, his antics were very entertaining which he has grown out of ( but really it's just him being written boring ), now that those are gone, he isn't as entertaining to watch anymore, I am all for him being a sacrifice to hype someone up

He knows all that goku knows except IT, he even knows piccolos techniques which ain't biological, just because he prefers fighting physically dosen't mean he can't do them..

We have to wait two weeks for this goodness? Goddammit! Team fight? Gohan x Piccolo vs Goku x Tenshinhan sounds so freakin' cool. Amazing teams. Endless possibilities for a great fight. Then Gohan challenges Goku himself? C'mon, how can you NOT be excited?! The title wasn't really doing it for me, but with Ten and Piccolo thrown in the mix I just can't hide my hype.

If those recruitment episodes have been so cool and they seem to keep it up, I can't wait to see the actual tournament.

Gohan lacks a bit from my point of view, like Kaioken that can help you boost not just strength but overall stats, after image technique (theoretically Gohan should also be able to do this but we have yet to see him use it) and Solar flare (he should also be able to use this and the manga implied that Future Gohan knows it but anime Gohan has yet to use it) and most importantly the one you mentioned IT, Gohan lacks diversity of moves he's basically like Vegeta, full of blasts.

NamekianSaiyan, Gohan does have the capability to have the warrior mentality. I'm pretty sure Piccolo says he hasn't had it for a long time, which implies he used to. If Piccolo can't bring him back to the fighter that he used to be, then he's a horrible teacher.
