Will Gohan get something on top?

He regained Ultimate... But with the synopsis of episode 90 it seems we may get even something better.

Cuz as cool as Ultimate is... It isn't Super Saiyan Blue but Gohan's goal is to surpass his dad... So what you think

The things I think

1. Ikari... I would love to see him with it cuz of the rage theme and because it could be explained properly.
2. SSB... Well would be OK but nothing too awesome in my eyes
3. Something unique lile God Ki in his utlimate mode

I'll be surprised if he doesn't get Super Saiyan Blue down the road, if only because Toei/Bandai have run out of characters to market the new form with.

Goku, Vegeta and Vegito are the only 3 that have it for the toys/videogames. Gohan is really the only other option, since Future Trunks didn't get it and kid Trunks/Goten won't.

I believe Gohan won't be treated as the "rage warrior" he once was anymore, especially now that his potential has been fully unleashed. Piccolo will probably draw out much more power out of him. I hope Gohan won't get anything other than his potential unleashed form, which I would like to see him upgrade through something like better ki control (which could also be God Ki) or meditation.
The potential unlock concept is just too awesome to get thrown out like that.

Maybe Gohan will get Super Saiyan Green. Pretty suspicious that they hyped up Caulifla's huge potential in the same episode, and Gohan has another episode coming up in two weeks.

I'm mostly kidding, but boy wouldn't that be a wild twist? It won't be surprising if Piccolo and Goku manage to bring out something beyond even Ultimate Gohan, but who knows what that could even be?

Should he have a new form? Absolutely Not! Gohan is better left alone. You can give his aura a different color if you want instead of white but leave his god damn hair alone.

I'm almost expecting something, simply because they're doing a lot to hype up his power before the tournament even starts. I wouldn't expect Super to play all of its cards for one character before we even get to the selling point of the arc. But I can't imagine what else they'd do and why. Maybe he won't get anything in the tournament, and the selling point is just we get to see several episodes of Gohan fighting where he's actually pretty important power-wise and isn't going to be majorly outclassed by Goku and Vegeta very early on. Plus, the idea of him and Piccolo working together in a team battle.

So...I'm actually not so sure. Could go either way.

I agree 100%. Ultimate form can surely be expanded without falling into the 'trap' of god ki.

I'm guessing he will learn to use God ki in has base or "ultimate" form, which is basically what Whis has been trying to get Goku and Vegeta to achieve. Goku may also learn to do the same thing judging from the opening animation.

Fuck it. Why not have Gohan Surpass everybody inlcuding Zeno. After all he has the "most potential any one has ever seen" right? I'm holding out hope that Gohan won't be SSB level ever. We need to wait until the episode before we'll know for sure if he becomes Greater than Goku.

He just said their strength would be different depending on their starting power, par for the course with Super Saiyan transformation.

Like how they did a switcharoo in the Buu Saga having Goku being the savior, I kind of hope this arc switches it up and have Gohan being the savior. Mostly because I always liked when they switch roles back and forth.

Probably so, he'll more than likely get a new form, probably the rumored SSJ White? Anyways, did Gohan go SSJ2? It didn't look like SSJ2 sparks but when he powered up he had a little electricity going on there.
