Yamcha being added I'd be ok with. I felt bad for him with the jokes they keep having at his expense regarding the invite.

If a character is replaced with Yamcha I think the point of the running gag was comedic foreshadowing to him being on the team, so the jokes would serve an actual purpose in that case.

I would actually be happy if Yamcha replaces Buu. He has a cool fighting style and cool techniques, and hasn't fought in a very long time.

What would be the point of revealing 10 members for the team and then months later replacing one. Why didn't Toriyama just make it 11 per team?

If Buu got cut I think people would get over it pretty fast because of his fight in the exhibition.

I know I definitely won't. It'd be actually pretty insulting to me to shaft the guy again from a tournament that he initially was selected to participate in for. Doing the exact same thing to Boo wouldn't feel right to me at all.

Essentially how I feel. I really hate that Yamcha has been getting the shaft, but I really don't want him in at the cost of getting rid of someone else.

Vegeta probably won't be replaced either, but he definitely has less going for him than the other 4. It's a dick move to replace anyone, but I won't lose sleep over it. Hopefully, Roshi and Tien get some nice treatment in 89 and 90, so if they do get shafted, they at least did something cool. Also, 18 hasn't done much either. It would be lame if she just gets randomly axed.

They have all been hyped as they are in the opening, trailers and magazines. They can't just say randomly that all the hype for one character is nothing and then replace that character as it will be unacceptable.

He's not getting the shaft IMO. He's always been the weakest in the series of main characters who actually had some fights, even behind Roshi who I believe its ridiculous to have in the tournament.

Basically Yamcha is a gag fighter...not someone I want defending my universe.

No replacing 18, besides the fact that she's literally the only gal in the team she has great chemistry and teamplay with 17, without her 17 may go solo like Goku and Vegeta, actually theres a chance Goku and Vegeta may teamup, they've done it before against Merged Zamasu. Krillin is a wild card, he may go from teaming up wih 17 and 18, then switch to Tien and Roshi, then him and Goku, him and Gohan as well when Piccolo gets ringed out.
Goku can team up with almost anyone in the team as well besides 18, Boo is a 50-50.

For ep 90 I wish Goku goes SSJ3 first against Ultimate Gohan, its been the dream match I've been yearning for in the Z era.

Where is this idea of replacing Vegeta coming from? I'm pretty sure Beerus would just destroy him if he refused. Beerus is more on edge right now than a drug addict going cold turkey. No way would he let his second strongest fighter not enter.

Also he was literally the first one recruited and his issue was resolved. No reason to think he won't be there...like...at all.

Remember how they revealed U7 team for the Champa Arc before Goku start recruiting the team? Monaca had hype but he turned out to be a joke, and Buu got shafted aside.

The whole trolling Buu seems like a recurring gag by Toriyama, so if anything, blame Toriyama for pulling his kind of move and not Toei. Toriyama cares more for gags than the story.
