Well the good thing about all this teasing about team changes is when the team does change everyone would already have it out their systems and this thread won't be a mess.

I just want some cool looking aliens from U7 and not Goten/Trunks/Yamcha/Satan to replace.

It will be only Yamcha and no one else. Why would you want some random alien on team Universe 7 instead of someone we know.

Sure and that was my argument for the current team which I really liked, but I am not a huge fan of these guys so would rather have aliens, just my personal taste. I wouldn't mind just Yamcha actually but I can't see them only replacing one member then what was the point they may aswell have just had Yamcha on the visuals from the start, there is gonna be multiple replacements otherwise this whole thing is stupid.

I wouldn't mind Trunks (and I think it would be good character development), but he comes at the cost of including Goten.

Agree about the aliens. They teased about U7 having metalmen (Magetta's race), and recently quantified the number of planets at 28 (I think?), so it would be nice to have someone else to mix things up. Though if it's a late replacement, might come at the cost of teamwork.

I would love Yamcha to join in or replace Roshi (just him and not anyone else) I wouldn't like to see Boo (again) not being active in the tournament with all his crazy abillities, Krillin and Tien are part of the new generation of fighters as Yamcha is and 17, 18, Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta and Goku are indispensable

Not necessarily, Jaco integrated well in Resurrection "F" with the team fight and like you said it mixing things up a bit and makes things exciting if we have an alien or two.

I haven't really been following the developing stories, but the discussions here are saying that there might be a lineup change for the upcoming tournament... ? That would mean that the Opening has been falsely advertising all along...

If a change-up is to happen, I'd swap Boo out for Yamucha -- since the tournament emphasizes team chemistry and more grounded combat. Plus it'd be throwing a (last?) bone to fans of the original cast. I would welcome this twist. Boo, while being super-powerful, is also way too unpredictable.

I would also be down with Roshi making an appearance as Jackie Chun. That would make all Tenkaichi Budokai winners from the 21st onwards -- sans Mr. Satan -- a representative of U7 (Chun, Ten, Son Goku). And Gohan won the Cell Games Tournament (because he had no other choice).

I don't see why anyone should be replaced by Yamcha,i mean sorry if i sound harsh for anyone who is a fan of the character but Yamcha's record has porved that he isn't exacly useful during a battle.

Hey now. It was Yamucha that carried Gokus' unconcious body all the way back home so that he could receive treatment and recover. The conclusion of the Cell arc and all of the events that led up to it wouldn't have happened otherwise. Yamucha was the real MVP there.

If a change up does happen the only one I'd be ok with is Boo being replaced, I want Roshi to stay in! Roshi Krillin and Goku.... the original turtle team, the good ol days, it'll be fun watching all 3 of them do some combo moves, Boo has no chemistry with anyone besides... probably Goku because for some reason Goku's been crazy about Boo since the U6 tournament, Roshi is the only one I'm being bias with despite the power level problems because thats how much I want to see him in action for One. Last. Time.

Sure, you can probably say the same for the other humans, but at least they were strong enough to go toe to toe with the strongest beings in the universe.

Roshi taking out some of Freeza's weak henchmen is believeable, but seeing him fight with characters all above the level of Super Saiyan? When Roshi could not even stop King Piccolo back in Dragonball? It's just unbelieveable he could stand a chance.

TBF none of whats happening right now makes sense, for some reason teaming up now has its perks when Goku+Piccolo V Raditz was a massive stomp and the gap wasnt even that big compared to the present gaps, now we have Krillin pushing God Goku's wave, 18 kicking God Goku's wave, 17 able to hold back against SSJB, Gohan who simply trained to regain his Ultimate form for a few hours and now has a chance to surpass Goku or rather they're hyping it up.... none of this makes sense, this arc makes no sense, its a fanservice arc to bring back the old casts for one last ride (probably)

I will repeat myself... Changing anyone right now after showing us all this promo stuff and all would be bad and no matter who it would be, it would piss some people off.

And to be honest... I would rather see Master Roshi with his knowledge than Yamcha... By that logic we should take Goten and Trunks instead of any of them.
