I have been against Roshi instead of Yamcha from the beginning, so of course I hope it is going to be him that gets replaced. Buu is slim now, I need to see some action from him in his current form!

I like to think Toriyama saw baseball episode's idea way before we saw it, got pissed at his character being treated as a laughing stock, made last minute changes in the story and Including him this time around..
The suicide bomber sticks to him like saibamen and blows up, when the smoke clears we expect him to laying in that pose but he blocks it, smirks and says, the same thing won't work on me again..

That would teach em a lesson

If they seriously do have Yamcha fight again, they're not going to treat him poorly (well, more than usual) by having him lose with his meme pose again. As said they already did that in the baseball episode, they wouldn't repeat it again so soon after and it'd be pointless.

They'd probably give him at least one win before he inevitably goes down like the rest of the main cast leaving possibly only Gohan or Goku as the last characters standing from the team.

The baseball episode had him win through his meme pose, not lose; making the symbol of his failure a sign of victory.

This would have been better if they had Goku in his baseball costume back in the baseball episode or better yet have Yamcha in it and have him in his signature dead pose throughout the match.

So there's a high possibility that the timid looking frail girl is different from Cauli? hoping this gets confirmed, had my hunches that they were 2 different characters because of how vague the magazine was with showing Cauli and FemBroly plus with how they were teased.
At least theres a chance we get to see 3 saiyans vs 3 saiyans, just dont have Goku and Vegeta go SSJB and Gohan in Ultimate from the get go. Cabba against Vegeta again and those 2 girls against Goku and Gohan... I can see it now, those 2 girls will be itching for some Goku and Gohan time even after the tournament ends, have Cauli call Goku "aniki" and persuade him to lead them as their boss/leader

So there are two Saiyan girls, as I thought. It would be way too strange if they made last minute changes like that considering the full script of this arc must have been completed months ago and Toriyama probably approved Toei's additions to the script not long after it was completed.
Now I'm curious to see if the King of Sadal will also appear considering he was mentioned and as the King he should be the strongest untransformed Saiyan of U6, unless it doesn't work like that there.

By the way do you think Kale will first transform in the tournament or will she achieve that form before, in one of these upcoming episodes? Maybe they will show Cabba recruiting her and teaching her how to go SSJ and she will get that LSSJ form.

About that Damon guy: I like him. I really do. Seeing all these fighters with their own fighting style and gimmick is awesome, and it feels like the old tournaments of Dragon Balls were everyone had some special ability.

In the Buu arc he was told to power up like he was going Super Saiyan by elder Kaioshin and that's how he went into his Ultimate form, so it's still consistent with Z.

But he hasn't transformed in the slightest... Even after he faced Buu he just powered up his aura but hasn't changed in the slightest.

And like I always. Goku, Vegeta and Co go and sit down your ass for some hours and get rid of your ugly hair recoloring and cons it brings.

Still, at least like this it seems like it might help it get written more consistently from this point on. Previously, it didn't seem like there was any consensus about how it was supposed to work. Even now they seem to have forgotten that he originally got the fully outlined eyes from going Ultimate, not the bang.

At that point there wasn't a distinction between his base and ultimate forms, now we have the bang to tell them apart.
