Tsuji is a chief animation supervisor, from the beginning she's worked on every even numbered episode while Ide is on every odd numbered, they aren't regular supervisors.

There's always a chance that Shimanuki left the series to work on a different project.

It's only been a few weeks since we last saw him...

Unless I'm missing something, Shimanuki's last supervision was #81.

I wouldn't believe Shimanuki leaving Dragon Ball for a second; plus the schedule is in an much better place now.

The muscle definition is less detailed. A step away from Yamamuro's designs. I like it. I wish they do it consistently.

Yeah, and even if he hadn't appeared since 81 it would be WAY too early to even consider the idea that he's left. I don't know why that would even be an idea that would enter someone's mind right now.

Heh, the people start moaning when Karasawa's name didn't pop up after the beginning of the Universal Survival arc. You say it's too early to even consider Shimanuki's status for Dragon Ball Super.

When I say there's always a chance for one to leave the series, trust me, it can happen. There's always a crack for a prominent animator to get out of and go somewhere else. It's highly unlikely for Shimanuki to leave given he's a big fan of Dragon Ball.

People started to get worried when Karasawa's name wasn't showing up passed where it would make sense for it to base on rotation, based on rotation Shumanuki would logically show up in 89, 90 or 91.
89 is Nii and Nazhizawa, so based on rotation the next two up are Shimanuki and Yashima, one of them will get 90 and the other will get 91.

    Bang=Ultimate form.
    He's probably powering up into his Ultimate form in that shot.

    Base Gohan = no bang
    Ultimate Gohan = bang

    Since BOG Movie, it's been like that. It's a way for the viewers distinguish which form he's using and also matches his haircut in EOZ.

    The Goku shot looks nice, but I'm not expecting much from this episode artistically or from a writing point of view.
