Krillin the planet buster?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Again the weakest PL we know that it takes to blow up a planet ia 18,000. Krillin is far beyond that.
A theory (planet busting Krillin) without a proof (planet busting feat) is still a theory, not a fact.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

Dragon Ball fans tend to go by powerscaling in the absence of feats, I mean based on feats alone first form Freeza has shown far better destructive power than Perfect Cell ever did.

...And then we run into classic Toriyama inconsistencies, like weaker characters previously showing moon level destruction feats only for initial potential unlocked Kuririn with a power level of 13,000 to be shocked by a large crater created by Recoome.

So we saying Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks are not planet busters because you have never seen them do it or nothing said about an attack they were about to do was planet busting. Thats your logic right now.

That's the logic people use when there's a lack of onscreen or on-panel feats. Many Dragon Ball fans use ABC logic, basically if a weaker character performs a feat of strength or power then a stronger character should be able to perform an even better feat.

The problem with that is Kuririn hasn't ever shown anything even close to moon level destructive capabilities, and I've shown in my post above yours that even on Namek after having his potential unlocked he was frightened by a gigantic crater left by Recoome's attack. Why would that scare him if he can destroy a planet at that point?

Unfortunately, reactions like that are already inconsistent in Dragonball.

For example, Roshi blew up the moon. Then, he witnesses the incredible power of Tien's Kikoho as it... vaporizes a tournament arena. Trivial in comparison with a heavenly body and yet he says the Kamehameha doesn't compare.

Another example, Piccolo (also) blowing up the moon. Later, he sees Nappa destroy... what appears to be a deep trench in the Earth's surface. Less impressive than what we've seen Piccolo himself do even before DBZ started, but he remarks that he had never dreamed of such a blast.

On topic, I can see the side arguing for Krillin being planet-buster level only being a theory. There is no direct evidence, even though it does fit what's shown elsewhere. Kind of like a Klingon Bird-of-Prey that can fire while cloaked.

On the other hand, Spock also said that if he were on a planet with a positive gravity, he could hold up a hammer and let it go and KNOW that it was going to fall, even without watching said hammer.
Twilight: My library?! My library!! Do you have any idea how many books I had in there?!
Lord Tirek: How many, little princess?
Twilight: Over NINE THOUSAND!!!

He sounds like a debater from comic vine. "It doesn't count unless it's actually shown on panel" types
