Boo out again? Why can't we get rid of one of the boring characters like Tenshinhan or Vegeta?

It doesn't appear to say for sure that Freeza will join, so I still say we wait and see. Could just be a padding episode with Freeza being the butt of the jokes. But if Buu does end up benched it certainly wouldn't surprise me. The second he said he was taking a nap I just said "Uh oh".

If Freeza does end up joining the team, then that's hilarious. I don't see it happening quite yet, but I find it funny. Let's see where this goes anyway.

Though kind of sucks for Yamcha. Poor guy doesn't even get considered.

Honestly not surprised to see Buu possibly sitting this one out between him saying he was tired after his fight with Goku and the ending having him sleeping on a cloud. Though, if he doesn't wake up at all (and this whole Buu sleeping subplot isn't just padding by Toei) I would have rather seen Yamcha over Freeza being added to the team of ten...

I'll give it a chance though. Hopefully they manage to pull something off. Who knows, perhaps Freeza has his own scheme planning in the event he accepts the invitation. Maybe he takes out Zeno by surprise following the tournament (highly unlikely but I'd like there to be some grand reason for his return again. Especially instead of "we need you to fight in a tournament with us" when knowing Freeza he would rather be erased than work alongside Saiyans.

I'm so happy we got 2 new female characters i've always wanted the show to have a badass girl like Erza type !

But Ezra is one of the worst characters in all fiction, not just anime/manga

I'd rather they not be Mary Sues who pulls power ups out their ass and win with nakama power.

And Frieza is actually back? Goddammit. I love the guy but he needs to stay dead and gone.

Also Vegeta is using the ROSAT, but not Goku and Gohan? I say that because now that means Gohan potentially somehow becomes super strong in less than a day? or Two days tops? Yeah even I can't buy that. I can only make a joke that Gohan got sick of everyone randomly getting potential, that he decided to be the bullshitiest one XD.

Also Boo has so much more to offer than Tenshinhan...so why is he not benched? Boo proved in his match he can be a fun addition...so why are we getting rid of him for the blander choice?

According to an old Toriyama interview the original Kid Buu alternated between cycles of hibernation and activity, although it wasn't clear whether the current Buu would do the same.

Also Boo has so much more to offer than Tenshinhan...so why is he not benched? Boo proved in his match he can be a fun addition...so why are we getting rid of him for the blander choice?

Buu already got his battle. Tenshinhan hasn't even had a proper battle yet since he got one shotted in his own recruitment episode. Wait until next week at least since he's fighting again.

tbh what i like about Erza is that she's a character equal to men ! you don't see much female characters that are relevant in shounen anime especially in Dragon ball just look how they all become irrelevant housewives same with Naruto the main female characters are all underrated and lack screen time but Erza is boss tbh i don't see her as "Mary Sue"

Crossing my fingers that the Freeza thing is a gag episode. I like Freeza. But this seems a little silly.

I mean...What do you even do with Freeza once this is all over? "Thanks for the help not go back to hell"? It wouldn't be enough to make me rage or even disappointed though.

For now I'm going to stick with "This is a gag episode: until proven otherwise". Then I'll see how I feel about whatever happens when it happens.

This arc is good at doing it's best to try to shake me off following Super.

I've slowed down my involvement, but they haven't fully gotten rid of me yet.

I'm not upset, I'm just not interested in what this arc's trying to sell me. I don't care about tournaments, or the Omni Kings, or VegeBul. Freeza doesn't interest me because he's come back 2 times already. I would've rather had Cell, Buu, or Yamcha. Bringing Freeza back a 3rd time...that's as many as Brolli.
