Why not switch Roshi and tien with goten and trunks
They sure as hell aren't shotgun terms of power especially compares to the kids.

Because it changes things up. Having a bad guy have to suck it up and fight with the very people he despises, it can make up for a lot of more tension and drama.

Done right, the interactions Frieza can have with the cast could be the best. Still hurts not having Buu tho.

Good job, Toei/Toriyama/Toyotaro/whoever trough of this. Now Frost is even more of a waste along with ROF. Its even worse because the Buu failing asleep thing was already used in the Champa arc. They should have used the failing the exam idea from the manga. Anyway, WHY BUU AND NOT TIEN? Seriously, its not that I don't like Tien, but right now is the weakest of the team, and he is definetly not as entertaining as Buu. Or Cell. WHERE IS CELL? He would be so fucking OP...Just let him the ROSAT.

Aside from Frost, I’m looking forward to the possibility that Freeza might finally face an actual Legendary Super Saiyan (Kale), should be exciting. I’m not that interested in this arc before, but this whole thing feels very exciting.

I hope so. I haven't been this disappointed in Super in a long time... at least episode 90 sounds fantastic and has a great staff lineup. And Gohan holding his own against Goku is great news. Can't wait.

A lot of people have brought up Cell and while I think that would still be a bad idea, it would be better than having Frieza again. Overall, this whole false advertising thing is annoying. They hype up the ten fighters from the poster and only THEN start talking about replacing someone. Bullshit.

I just read the previews for next episodes, and this couldn't be more disappointing and it doesn't make sense, why would Freeza even collaborate if he is dead? will Goku not tell him that he is alive just for 24 hours? but even so... why?

Also I don't like that they bring Freeza back yet AGAIN!! It wasn't good in Fukkatsu it is anoying by now. Just leave him dead.

Buu being left out because he sleeps a lot its also nonesense and by now Buu is an unreliable fighter since he only fights once and then sleeps for 2 months What happened to the Buu that only needed 5 seconds of sleep? (I know that was kind of a joke back then but this is ridiculous, they just want Buu out for some reason )

The only characters that are coming out positive right now is Gohan, Piccolo and Krillin. Tien got jobbed in his own episode. Goku really looks like an idiot to me right now, Roshi's humor is something I can't say I like, Buu is out, Vegeta is one of the last to figure out the truth, 18 is neutral for now, 17 had to deal with the power level apocalypse. This arc isn't doing these guys any favors so far. I'm surprised that Piccolo has gotten such good treatment tbh. Episode 90 will fix that.

Okay, we get it, you don't like the idea. However, there's nothing actually stopping it from turning out wonderfully, seeing as the entire group's existence is on the line. Joking around about this is fun and all, but let's not judge the entire concept based on an episode description. Why not see if they can pull it off first?

I don't think I've ever seen a show trying so hard to make the audience hate its characters like they are doing with Freeza. They brought him back in pointless fanservice arc/movie to get killed yet again at the end of it. Them bringing back Freeza at this point the game just makes ROF's existence even more stupid..

It's the opposite since Freeza is stronger than ever and is stronger than most on the U7 team. So bringing him back makes more sense than bringing him back when he was only as strong as he was on Namek. If anything, it justifies Resurrection 'F' as more than a 'throw away' movie and arc as some fans have been complaining about.

I will say it is stupid to revived Freeza, purely on the basic that he's an untrustworthy mass-murderer who will screw his team to get back at Goku. Because Freeza is a moron in that aspect.

At the same time, I find it amusing that the team thought of Freeza over Yamcha. They literally picked a mass-murderer over him, poor guy. lol
