Holy crap... here I was smelling BS all over the leaked titles and they turn out to be legit... but like I said its not impossible to have Freeza cooperate, promise him a wish to the dragon balls and he would gladly pop out there, adding that it beats being in his cocoon stuff toy hell.
I wasnt a fan of it at first but thinking about the interactions that can be made... I'm all hyped for it now.
I knew it was Boo that they'll replace, was obvious from the shots and promo, the ED shot did foreshadow he was sleeping.
I can see it now, Freeza attacking Goku from time to time and says "oops, my hand slipped" and casually teasing Vegeta and going straight for Frost claiming, so you didnt destroy planet Salad? you dumbass, you're a failure, then jumps into Cabba, Kale and Caulifla "oh look, 3 new monkeys I can toy with" This is gonna be good. The character interactions would be amazing compared to what Boo could do.

I feel bad for Boo tho.

There's a lot they could've done with Freeza and Buu on the same team due to Freeza causing trouble and Buu being a loose canon.

Freeza could turn Buu on everyone by making some shit up like they're going to take all his food away once the tournament is over or something.

Freeza could turn Buu on everyone by making some shit up like they're going to take all his food away once the tournament is over or something.

Boo already knows Satan can cover it, to him Satan>>>everyone else, at best he would just laugh at Freeza and call him "giant lizard man"

This outrage seems very similar to the "Female broly" fiasco. But people seem to like her now. (or them I guess). Same thing with Goku Black. I'm just saying, maybe we should wait it out before we start blowing things up.

I know Freeza seems to get a lot of screen time now, but it's still the same response from fans. Outrage over something that hasn't happened yet and we have no details on. Criticism is valid but the anger is always so jarring no matter how many times I see it.

Buu falling asleep again is pure bullshit. 3 times now, it's irritating and redundant. I personally think they had Buu fight in the Zen Exhibition Match because they were planning on shoving him aside later on. But Buu falling asleep is a dumb excuse, they could have thought of something else.

And to be honest, I'm looking forward to how the others on the U7 team will react to Freeza, especially Vegeta and Krillin. Goku must be really stupid bringing Freeza on board. Sure Beerus might have him on a tight leash, but Freeza hates Goku to the core. He is incredibly untrustworthy and will likely backstab them as the tournament goes on. Tensions will be high.

Another interesting note is that Toppo and the pride troopers already view U7 as the villain. Hence when they see Freeza they will view U7 on a more negative light, pushing that narrative in Toppo's mind that Goku is a bad guy.

In my opinion, we have seen enough of Freeza, and I feel for the fans of Buu. Freeza has overstayed his welcome and the writers don't seem to think so. We will see how it turns out.

So for this arc we have Female Saiyans, a Broly lookalike & now Freeza.
In the previous arc we had evil Goku, Future Trunks and Vegetto.
In the one before that we had alternate universe Saiyans and Freeza.
RF was of course Freeza coming back.

Another thing I'm looking forward to is what kind of fan service will we get in the next arc. Maybe Bardock ?

Only the internet fans are sick of Freeza. The general fandom adores him. Why do you think he's the #1 villain in the franchise and his movie made million of dollars.

Any by overusing him you'll see those very fans begin to hate him. I like Freeza, but this just seems wrong and way too soon to bring him back again.

Cell is hard for them because of his spots, that would do more bad than good production wise. Freeza's pretty easy to draw as well.
What are the chances of Toyo wanting his manga to be different so he uses Cell instead of Freeza haha.
