I think DIMPS has stated that for Xenoverse 3 they have much more development time, so I would say that next year is unlikely.

Next holiday would give it a full 2 year dev time, which would be longer than XV2.

Unless I've got my math wrong, this is assuming that they started working on Xenoverse 3 STRAIGHT after releasing 2

For franchise games like this they would have started planning for the next game before the current one even releases.

and why not??? at this point the Xenoverse franchise is a success and we already had a sequel so i'll made sense to complete the trilogy with one more game now after that yeah i don't think we are having a Xenoverse 4 but who knows that said if it's true that we still have a long while to see the next game i hope that's the case because Xenoverse 2 came way earlier than i expected since the release of the first game and i didn't really like how it felt like Xenoverse 1.5 so i want them to have enough time to make something really good this time around.

I never said there wasn't going to be a Xenoverse 3. Of course there will be. But I doubt it'll be the next one. I don't fully understand it, but I've heard there's some weird contract where they gotta make a console Dragon Ball about every year or so and we know they already said they're taking their time with Xenoverse 3.

He also said we could have gotten Divine Lasso in DLC pack 3.

I don't think Rhymestyle would know when the production of a game will start unless he works for Japanese Bandai. Which is not the case. And even if he did, he wouldn't be allowed to tell us. As future projects cannot be revealed beforehand, without an official announce date.

Divine Lasso is a skill that belongs to free DLC #3, the reason why we still don't get it because Western Bandai doesn't want us to buy it already. Japanese players already have it.

While Xenoverse 3 not being in production is very plausible, it probably is quite far in pre-production. It's been enough time to get feedback from the player base and decide what worked and what still needs work gameplay-wise. Not to mention they did kinda plant seeds of where the story might go, so they probably have a few ideas about that as well.

Actual production won't start until the final DLC is released, though, in order to have a complete base from where to start. And if the devs are to be believed and the third game is going to have a longer cycle, it's going to be quite sometime before actual hands-on work is going to begin.

This is so pathetic. At first I thought TP Shop was cool but now they trashed it. And now we have to worry about time to buy stuff.

Also they don't list Paragus' outfit nor Black Kamehameha and when to buy them.

I hope Xenoverse 3 adds a theatre mode/whatever-it's-called like most of the other Dragon Ball games. I like re-watching my old fights from different angles; plus it'd probably make the game more enjoyable for the machinima community.

Something I still don't completely understand is why Potara haven't been made available as accessories yet. You would think they'd be in by now with how many people have shown their desire for them. I mean, they're not like, say, Super Saiyan Blue as a transformation for customs, because that requires balance, but accessories have no stats.

Ideally, I'd like six options. The yellow ones (as on Vegetto) on the right ear, on the left ear, and on both ears; and the same options for the green ones (as on Zamasu). But honestly, I think we all really want Vegetto's pair and Gokū Black's left ear one.

My main character looks so godly when using Divine Lasso, might get some screenshots of him doing it later. I had to change a bit the way I play with him due to Divine Lasso and Divine Retribution, but I managed to find a perfect combo to match each one.

As for Black Kamehameha, people were saying it was stronger than Super Black Kamehameha but when I tested in training mode, it was hitting the exact same amount of damage. Also, Black Kamehameha gives the opponent an opportunity to evade after the punch, while the energy wave of Super Black Kamehameha always hit.

Right but with Naruto Storm it was necessary because the last part of the series was still needed to be covered in a game and just so happened after the 3rd one and if i'm not mistaken they just announced a new game that has no reference to the storm series at least in name, that's what i think it's going to happen after Xenoverse 3 they are just gonna go into another route and stick to covering the events of Super and maybe something else unless they plan to go full Heroes with the Xenoverse series which i would like a lot because i like the whole concept in general together with the new transformations and story.
