Hey Mike, Non-DBZ Game Folder?

Post by Ben Plante » Wed May 12, 2004 11:40 pm

I was thinking... a lot of posters here are probably gamers, and they might wanna discuss other video games besides DBZ ones. Yes, I know there are an infinite number of sites and forums dedicated to games in general, but none with the wall of fire that prevents idiocy like this forum coughGameFAQscough.

I'm just saying, a gaming thread here with guaranteed intelligent discussion would be cool. Yes? No? Shut up Ben?

I'm sure that idea is placed in the same category as an off-topic forum. Sorry, but we won't get it.

You're right, a lot of us are into gaming. We'd have to get a general anime forum, though, as well. EX made it clear we've gotten all we're getting.

Dang. Alright, I can see his point there. I'm just sick of GameFAQs and its 'BEST. GAME. EVER.' contest idiocy. There's no such thing.

Someone could make their own MB and restrict it to Daizenshuu EX board members.

Yes, wiggle our way. Like if I were to, hypothetically, ask if you get a reward for getting all the dog tags in MGS: Twin Snakes. ::Cough:: hypothetically.

Heh, I was just joking, I already know what happens. You get NOTHING for collecting them all. In MGS2 they gav you so many porizes, infinite ammo, stealth camouflauge... wigs... but MGS, othing. Just satisfaction.

That would be my response... hypothetically.

And, hypothetically, I'd say MGS2 is a crap load of fun, especially with the stealth camo! Hypothetically of course. 8)

So there you have an example of how the off-topicness starts, of how we talk about other things non-DBZ related. Sometimes it is let pass by because it still is a bit on-topic, other times I would stop posting for my safety :D

And hypothetically, this is where EX would come in and say "On topic please". 8)
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

Hypothetiucally, MGS2 is hypothetically really fun, hypothetically. Even with hypothetical unpopular Raiden. I mean that. Hypothetically.

Oh! Your talking about Metal Gear Solid 2! I love that game! Raiden rocks! One of the best X-box games!

Ok..I'm gonna stop posting here, to be honest, there is nothing DBZ to talk about here. Unless I ask you, why does Goku, Gohan AND Krillin all like grape soda? Is it a warrior thing? I would of gone with cream soda or root beer.

You know, I just remembered, I've got a DBZ board rotting away right now. It was desined to host Budokai 2 Tournaments, and then everyone started leaving before we even finished the ToC. Hmm... I should go and see if I can shift it to a Daizex-Randomness board....

And I have to agree SpiritBomb, Raiden's cool. I don't get why so many people don't like him. He makes me think 'Ninja' (not as much as Ninja does, but yeah) and I like Ninja's. :D

Da-dum-dum-dum-duuuummmmm! Right, I put it together extreamly quickly instead of converting the other one on suddenlaunch since proboards is a better free MB service.

The board is now open if anyone cares. Maybe it'll cut back on the off-topicness here?
