Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
Also someone over there in Toei recently read vol. 16. It's been a long time since Piccolo used this shockwave.

Goku turns SSJB and Ultimate Gohan still has a bit of an advantage over him.
Goku cranks it up with Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken and knocks out Ultimate Gohan instantly in a clash.

I had no problem with Goku going SSJBKK mainly because Gohan wouldnt fucking shutup about "dad, full power please" sl Goku only gave into his wish. At best Ultimate Gohan is only SSJ2 lvl, weird tho... Goku asks Gohan after he went ultimate that why isnt he going SSJ, so he can stack up SSJ with Ultimate?

Didn't you see him actually block and hit SSB Goku?SansrivaaL wrote:I had no problem with Goku going SSJBKK mainly because Gohan wouldnt fucking shutup about "dad, full power please" sl Goku only gave into his wish. It seems the current hierarchy is Goku SSJBKK >>> Ultimate Gohan = SSJB Goku > SSJ2 Goku > Base Gohan = Base Goku = Piccolo >> Tien.

Wouldn't really call it an advantage just because they drew him still a bit fighting with him. Seemed more like a match of SSJ2 and Ultimate. This is Dragon Ball. They allow characters to hit and block sometimes. That does not make them as strong or stronger.

So Base Goku is SS2 buu arc Gohan tier or something?
Gohan was looking like a match for SS2 Goku the ending felt like forced fanservice, but it was damn cool.
Tien is still weak af.

I did, but the whole SSJ2 Goku duking it out with full power Ulti Gohan still stuck as the norm, with Gohan landing a lucky hit and block on SSJB.ZombieVito wrote:Didn't you see him actually block and hit SSB Goku?SansrivaaL wrote:I had no problem with Goku going SSJBKK mainly because Gohan wouldnt fucking shutup about "dad, full power please" sl Goku only gave into his wish. Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
I'm starting to think the gap between SSJ3 and SSB really isn't that wide, but we've been guessing that since the Champa arc.
Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
New episode.
- Tien was completely worthless yet again, stomped easily by the Base Saiyans.
- Base Goku again seemed to be about equal to Base Gohan which surely points toward two bases. In any case when he transformed he was Blonde so he wasn't using any god power.
- Oddly enough SSJ2 Goku was giving Ultimate Gohan a run for his money. It looks like Gohan wasn't fighting all out though. Was he holding back to his SSJ2 level strength or something?
- Then it got really weird because not only did Goku turn Blue but also felt the need to go Kaioken. He won in the end but does that mean Ultimate Gohan is above SSJB Goku? Or at least in that Tier?

Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
Hesitant to put Gohan at Blue level right now. It was too brief for my taste. He did take a hit and kick Goku back...but it's not enough for me to call. Just as Goku used that form on Bergamo despite not needing it. At first I would say SSJ2, but he then stomped it after a while and turned the tables, as well as not being satisfied with SSJ2. Though SSJBKK one shots so we know that much.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Also not seeing any evidence for that"two-base theory", guess that was a one Arc only idea like Zenkai and the Frieza arc.

Gohan was even or winning most of the fight until SSBKK (not sure what level if x1 or x10), he exceeded SS2 Goku and even got a shot in on SSB
! Vegetal was smiling like 'Gohan...powered-up...nicee'. I would place Gohan at a potential low SSB or more appropriate around SS3 Goku level (potentially) since it seems the gap between SS3 and SSB isn't that wide.

Re: Official Unofficial "Dragon Ball Super" Power Level Discussion Thread
I'd say Gohan is close to SSJB tier. At his weakest as Ultimate Gohan, he seems to be on SSJG tier from the BOG arc at the very least. He caught SSJB Goku off-guard enough for Goku to feel the need to stack the Kaioken on top of SSJB to take him out quickly.

So people see it as Goku needing SSJBKK while to me Goku only gave into Gohan asking him to use his full power, as a fighter Goku only answered his wish.

Well, because that is exactly how it is. Gohan wanted full power. Goku showed him. Also Goku randomly transforms and powers up all the time. That does not make everyone on par with him.

I felt so bad for Tien, Piccolo was over there powering up that blast and Gohan was just on defence and attack like not today, even with the Kikoho..which reminds me, are those one finger ki blasts new from Gohan and what was Piccolo's attack?

Interesting episode. Well, given they had #17 going against Blue it wasn't that far-fetched to argue that Gohan would have had the same "privilege", so to speak.
The episode more or less fell in line with the trend of Goku going Blue against almost everyone along with the "different Super Saiyan forms = same outcome". I guess one could freely place Ultimate Gohan anywhere between a step above the current Super Saiyan 2 Goku and two or three steps below Super Saiyan Blue + Kaioken (*2? *10?) Goku.
