Gohan's method to gain power

Hello everybody!

In episode Gohan had a little conversation with Goku about his power. Goku asked Gohan why he didn't turned Super Saiyan. Gohan said that he will use an other method than Goku. He will use his ultimate form. Can we now official say that this is also a transformation with a multiplyer? Is it on the same level as SSB? Do you think it will also use godki? What do you guys think?
Especially that Gohan will use something els than SSJ?

Not a multiplier, but it draws out the user's whole power, so I guess you could say it's equivalent to SSj3. Gohan was inherently stronger than Goku in base due to his training with the Z-sword, so he would remain stronger in his ultimate form even if the multiplier were the same.

Hen we compare the beginning of the fight we see that Gohan power up. I think its the same powerup like in his "fight" with Beerus

He didnt have ultimate before. He was just poweribg up his ki in base. He wasnt even sure he could go SSJ as the series went on.

I think Gohan wanted to say he won't rely on transformations or god ki, but something else. Perhaps he will improve just by fighting stronger people or with meditation.
