You'd definitely tell the difference by feeling them and how they were made I can tell you that much. I've never bought a bootleg figure (I probably should if it looks funny enough) but based on buying things like fake Bape and Yeezys that China doesn't sell the most quality merch. I've seen this. The purchaser heavily implies that the one I got will be in the box on the left. I suppose that there are several variations of any given bootlegs. All things considered though, the one on the right is pretty good, and in a few areas, even has a better paint job.

What's interesting is that the bootlegs look better than the real deal. Sometimes anyway.
