Who says Freeza is here for character development? I still think he's here as a plot device, he'll create tension within the Universe 7 team itself while also furthering the narrative the other universes have of 7 being an evil universe.

If the exhibitions matches don't appear in the manga, it means they came from Toei and it was a way to give Buu's fans something.

Harley joined the Justice League in Injustice and I loved it.

Not quite "Justice League" since the Justice League is pretty much entirely split up in the Injustice universe. This is hardly new though since the main universe's Harley's been an anti-hero solo character since at least 2011 and also on and off beforehand.

Heroic Joker though? Eh, it sounds dumb they've done weirder.

It would have been great to have Buu fight in the ToP, but at least this time he got two wins before being taken out of the arc. They've really hammered home that Buu isn't reliable, so people should just keep that in mind in the future.

I already mentioned it before, either a Toyo+DB Room combo, or Toyo+Naho Ooshi team with DB Room tweaking their ideas.

Toyo designs so far have been quite good, Naho Ooshi could help in the comedy aspect.

Amen! I'm starting to get the idea that they're fresh out of new ideas at this point. The series should end soon. So far it's been nothing but nonsense. Don't get me wrong I will always enjoy the show, but it is gotten ridiculous: Power Levels and Scaling nonsense, Recoloring of same old forms, Retelling same stories, bringing back old enemies, the only new story in Super was the Battle of Gods. Everything else is just a bunch of nonsense.

Oh course that's it. It can't be possiblely be because people are interested in seeing how Freeza will react being on the same team as Goku and the others and see how he performed on a multi-universal stage. They must just want the same thing over again.

So the Future Trunks Saga was an exact clone of the Android/ Cell Saga? And this tourument is what, a clone of the Champa Saga which is a clone of every tourument art in Dragon Ball?

That's a load. The Champa arc introduced new characters and expanded the universe, the Future Trunks arc had new characters and a plot very different from the last time Trunks showed up, and the current arc has a ton of new characters and the tournament is not like anything in Dragon Ball before it. Freeza coming back doesn't make this a retelling of any existing story, especially since he's not the enemy. Freeza's return is interesting this time because it's a completely different situation than we've ever seen him in before.

Make it more than ten, and also more than Tien's. Roshi is there because he's Toriyama's pet/favorite and Frieza is always there, in Toriyama's mind, when he runs out of ideas. FortuneSSJ, I have called this exact scenario last week.

I'm sorry but that's a awful idea ooshi made that atrocious bardock special that everybody hates and toyo just made Goku on par with merged zamasu and base goku and vegeta survive hits from him.

not to mention the manga is boring as hell, the characters lack all character and all the enemies are weak beyond belief.
