Yeah, I do remember them doing something like that recently, but it was in this weird style. I think they did it once in the two #17 recruitment episodes as well. I hope they keep doing it c:

Tomioka is writing on other series, and is still on super. It's never stated that Ryu will leave the series, stop complaining until we got some real informations.

You're a battle power guy, aren't you? For your information, King Ryu scripted #84. Yeah, the one which had battle power fans complaining "how the hell did Kuririn push back SSB Gokuu's Kamehameha?!"

Point is scriptwriters don't have much creative control. If Nagamine and Nakamura, the SDs want something, they'll have to do it. Giving too much emphasis to scriptwriters is not being able to understand how the process works.

EDIT: Oh, it's good to know that King Ryu is able to manage multiple series. But, his involvement since the Trunks arc has lessened quite a bit. But, then again focusing too much on writers is pointless.
