Edit: I definitely like more Vegeta's hair in the image of below.
The image below is so much better, the detail, the color, Vegeta's hair felt a lot more organic on that image, but Kyabe has the face and hair of Gohan from Buu Saga.

It's good but suffers from the same kind of "IF SUPER LOOKED LIKE Z" edits that emulate too much of the orange bricks. Just a little bit of editing goes a long way in my humble opinion.

Looking like DBS ending #7 was the last we saw of Ishanti. She said she is moving on. Also, her name now popped up in Toei's new anime, Detective Butt as Series Director. Happy for her :)

This is the show
http://www.oshiri-tantei.com/
Edit: This is not a new show but just a short 3 minute video. Someone in twitter mistakenly said she is SD instead of just Director. That's where the confusion came from. Still happy for her though, since it means there are opportunities opening up :). I just like new talent to get shine.

Interesting. However I think Kyosato Yamamoto is someone else. Good to know that we are getting so many storyboardes this arc so far.

Where did Ishitani say she's moved on from Super?

This is where I found that info from

For anyone that can't see what this says:
It's couple of tweets. Basically he is talking to someone about Ishanti and saying, She said she would leave DBS "last week". Then they are speculating about her starting work as episode director on a new Toei show.

Earlier someone said that CG would be great. The stadium is already CG as we see in every episode's end. So, yeah that's the CG background for you, should be fun, hope they keep it CG the whole time. Anyone knows what Takahashi is busy on right now? He would be a great addition.
Feel free to correct me if I say something wrong.

People who want CGI, generally want it for the background fights since they know that Super cannot effectively create that many background fights on it's schedule. I also agree with this solution, if we didn't we'd probably end up with something like what we saw in the ROF movie, where the storyboarding created no sense of scale and felt really flat, which is something this tournament can't afford, or like the MarineFord arc of One Piece, where some scenes look really solid, and others just look dull. However, considering Super is nowhere near as good as One Piece, I don't think it would be able to pull even something like that off.

Drawiz are doing the CG for the arena. I really wonder if the arena or the TOP that the fighters are going to fight on will get damaged. And if does get damaged, I really wonder if they will use CG for doing so. I personally doubt it, but we will see.

Ishitani said that she supervised this, though it was uncredited, https://t.co/DZP3Dif1sU?amp=1

The animation team involves Tate, Hayashi and Tsutomo Ono and some other animators. Its based on some children's book. I don't know anything else about it. I probably think that its just a short special. I think the animators she talked about were only for that one video.

That was a bizarre watch.

Obvious Tate stuff at 0:51 - 0:53 and 2:26 - 2:44. Possibly earlier, but with the way everything's coloured, it's hard to see if it's Hayashi or Tate.

Always nice to see, anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Every time I see Tate on something other than his own Super episodes I get worried. If it was just that little short I wouldn't worry too much, but that on top of his minute long bit of animation in episode 91 certainly makes me a bit worried for his next episode.

Who knows, maybe that scene (apart from her killing those 2 blue people) might just be future bank animation for the tournament.

Thanks :) !!

Btw, Ono and his team are from a different studio right ? Because apart from him almost every animator was from Toei. Toei handles a lot of projects, so wouldn't be surprised if they might have asked Ono and co. for some help.

First look at LSSJ Kale's character design.
Image
Other than her weirdly leaning over in the one shot I dig the design.
Her hair in the behind shot is a bit wonky though.
