The Goku shot reminds me of episode 82.

The only Karasawa trait I spot is the shading. Still Karasawa doesnt draw the muscles in the arms that large. We will see.

Anyone saw the new DVD rental covers. They were amazing!!!!!

Yamcha is always the coolest in the series. There is a reason he is not in the tournament. They don't want him to steal the spotlight

They look pretty nice. At this point the worst thing about them are the highlights.

It's funny how Karasawa was my favourite supervisor and I'm just apathetic about the possibility of being him supervising episode 94.
This week NEP will give us a better look. I will only get hyped when it becomes a fact.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

In order to avoid turning this thread into rage and bitter drunkard, let's try not to get your hope up, even if it looks like it's Karasawa's character model. Until it's concretely confirmed by a Newtype magazine or someone trustworthy, the animation supervisor for Episode #94 remains unknown.

Ajay is "truth worthy". But whatever, let's wait until we have some official confirmations, since Toshio on twitter said he don't know where is Karasawa...

I appreciate that you consider me trustworthy, but DragonBalllKaiHD isn't wrong in what he's saying. I'm not a confirmation by any stretch of the imagination, and I've been wrong in the past.

While it does look like Karasawa, there's always the chance it's a Manabe or Nashizawa correction of someone else's work. Probably unlikely, but still a possibility.

"Don't get too excited just yet" is a fine message. It's only a little over 24 hours until we'll know for sure!

The storyline for this arc is intense, I wonder if the animators will survive the Tournament of Power. Kitano looks like he's been set up to job early. I wasn't expecting that Karasawa plot twist either.

By the way, Toshio had commented that the tournament will consists of 1 vs 1 battles. That's to be expected; the animators cannot do multiple battles all at once. It's too much, even for the best schedule available.

That's understandable. It's a bit disappointing, since the very opposite has been stated in-universe several times, and it's contrary to what we're lead to believe from the Boogie Back ending's visuals, but better to have decent one on one than deficient team battles.

There's always a chance that there will be fighting scenes similar to the Ultimate Blast opening. The current series director Nagamine was the director of that opening.

"There will be a 1vs1, if there is a group fight!"
I'm pretty sure there is something lost in translation here. I think he might be saying there are going to be 1v1s and group battles.

This is more likely. Earlier sentence made no sense. 1v1 if there is group lol.

Change if with and and it starts making sense.
Basically, there will be 1v1 and also group battles

I like the hands in those new DVD Rental covers, it's nice that Yamamuro seems to be trying to improve his hands specifically.

What do you guys think?

Maybe, the ears seem a bit angular to be him though, but he keeps getting closer to the model sheets so who knows.
