Yamcha makes a lot of sense, and he actually has a decent fan base. I think that Toei/Toriyama just had no idea how they'd design a cooperation between Freeza and his enemies and decided to keep him in character.

Power-wise, Jaco would definitely be a better option, but I see no possibility of him willing to take part in such an event even if it means that he'll be erased forever.

It's weird that people would rather see Freeza brought back again to fight against the cast (inevitably Goku/Vegeta) a situation we've seen quite a few times as opposed to Freeza being brought back and being forced to work with the protagonist (a situation we have never seen before)...

If all they were going to do was bring Freeza back and have him immediately fight Goku/Vegeta again then what was the point?

I don't get it either. Instead of putting a new and interesting spin to a tired idea, people want same old shit? The potential for different scenario's, comfort zones challenged, and potential growth...thrown out for same old shit?

Having Boo changed to Freeza was like a level 50 going to level 100, then enters having Yamcha change that slot went from lvl 100 to lvl -100.

I'm just waiting for Yamcha to become op, and then Toriyama will just say "He was training off screen".

I don't really know how to feel about these "leaks". On one hand, this increases the chances of Yamcha taking part, which would be a good thing. But on the other, it's absolutely invalidates the entire reason for Freeza returning again. Why would he jump ship to another universe? It makes no sense. That universe has Dragon Balls to bring him back to life once the Tournament ends. Unless he's defecting to that universe to stab them in the back and aid Universe 7 to victory.

Maybe Freeza just believes he can't be forced back to U7 hell if he escapes to another universe, but i think we should wait and see what U4 proposes to him. There'll definitely be some exchange leading up to that.

And it would be a missed oportunity if Yamcha never faces any of the Trio de Dangers.

Frieza joining U4 would make sense if Quitela is shown to be one hell of a businessman.

Basically he says he can't give details, but he just recorded a bunch of lines for Yamcha.
This could be a sign that the leak is real, but it could also mean nothing.

These bunch of lines could be just adding salt in the wounds of Yamcha fans just teasing that he would enter but won't. Super has teased us with Buu twice before, I wouldn't hold this to a high regard either. Nobody should. But at least its something.

But who else can enter if Yamcha cant? Jaco? Chatzou? Yajirobe?

Its now basically a given Yamcha will make it, and win it for U7, Toriyamas attempt in recycling the Monaca win but done properly this time.

Likely Jaco to be honest as much as I don't like it. He was with them when they fought Freeza's army and none of those guys you mentioned were even there.

These leaks sound suspicious, though anything could happen in Super so I won't be surprised if they end up being true. Also the Yamcha joke has to end somehow.

Ok I'm finally caught up and wow.

First off, Frieza betraying them was unlikely in the tournament as it would only end with him hurting his own cause. But if he can get a better offer from another universe before hand, thats a whole new game.

Also you have to give Quitela a lot of credit, not only has he got a great scheme to help him get rid of either U7 or U9, but he's also plotting to steal on of U7's best fighters. That is by far one of the best evil plots in this franchise. Quitela you continue to impress, shame your not my GoD, I'm a jealous of you U4 supporters.

The Freeza leaks coming true last month have made any leaks seem even more plausible.

Still, I want to wait for a confirmation for it.

Maybe what with all the universes at stake, killing off people by ring out is just a prelude to the eventual destruction they would face anyway. If U6 dont win their gone for good anyway.
